Unfortunately my worst two dining experiences in Warrington have both been here. One was chicken skewers, where upon cutting into them, they were raw in the inside. On a separate occasion, a vegetable curry was ordered for a vegetarian, a chicken curry was brought and the server insisted it was vegetarian. We won't be visiting again.

Food was lovely. Sat I’m the garden great atmosphere and very busy. Knocked it down one star for service. They forgot out puddings (cardinal sin) 😂 brought them quickly when reminded. Will definitely go again.

Good modern Hydes pub serving the breweries range of ales (including a stout). Large flat carpark probably ok to stop the night. Has a darts board. Popular with families. 🎯 🚐 đŸ»

We ordered Fish Friday and Cheese Pie. We were surprised on the reduction of portion sizes of the peas, beans, chips and the fish. The fish was a pre-formed shape and dry and most certainly unlike a fresh fish you get from the local nearby award winning Chip Shop, the peas/beans portion sizes were no bigger than a dessert spoon size and the cheese pie although just warm was no where near as hot/oozy as it used to be, we then counted the chips on our plates, one meal had 12 chips and the other 15 chips. The Fish Friday Deal used to see this pub heavily utilised by customers with never an empty seat, but it is now noticeable a much reduced ordered meal with lots of empty seats. On speaking with local residents who regularly frequented the pub for meals throughout the week and Friday they make the same comments regarding the reduced portion sizes, warmth of food and inform they now frequent the nearby Chip Shop for their Friday Fish Meal, this pub used to be a community pub you would walk away from feeling you had had a good value meal. It is a shame to see the pub going in this direction with regular customers sourcing alternative venues. There appears to be less staff on duty and the ones that are on duty are rushing around. Some thought, work and effort needs to be put in by Management to rebuild this pub to retrieve it's declining popularity before it is too late and it once again reverts back to a drinking only...

The food at is delightful. They offer a diverse menu that caters to various tastes and preferences, with both traditional pub classics and more adventurous options. The quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable, making it a win-win for your taste buds and wallet.

The service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

When it comes to drinks, they serves lager, bitter, and stout from the renowned Joseph Holt brewery brand. Whether you're a fan of these brews or trying them for the first time, they are sure to satisfy.

Be sure to check their Facebook page for any upcoming events. They often host entertaining events that add to the pub's lively ambiance, such as live music nights or quizzes.

The pub offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. On sunny days, take advantage of the outdoor seating area to enjoy your meal and drinks in the fresh air. It's a lovely setting.

They provides ample parking, ensuring you won't have to worry about finding a spot.

In conclusion, The Millhouse offers a wonderful pub experience. With delicious food, attentive service, and a great selection of drinks, it's an excellent choice for a night out/tea-time. Check their Facebook page for events, and don't miss the chance to enjoy the outdoor seating area...

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED On Tuesday evening I went with a friend to the Millhouse, we hadn’t been there for some time so thought we would try it again. We had a meal which was exactly what was expected and then ordered coffee. I wanted an Irish coffee but when it arrived what was served was a coffee, presumably with Irish whiskey, in a wide red cup plus a small jug of single cream. When I said I’d ordered an Irish coffee and that wasn’t Irish coffee the waiter was dismissive and argued that’s what it was and said there is no definition as to what an Irish coffee is. As it was NOT Irish coffee I asked for a refund or an alternative which he point blank refused, and stood and continued to argue with me as to what was an Irish coffee and that he couldn’t waste what had been served. Then 10 minutes later he returned to ask again was I going to accept his coffee, and was again belligerent. We paid out bill and left but obviously did not leave a tip which is my usual practice. I eat out regularly and have never been treated so badly. This man’s customer service...
