The Miners Arms — Restaurant in England

I used to live five minutes walk from the Miners a long time ago 30 odd years to be exact-ish then it had a very bad reputation, rough as a badgers ar#e as the saying goes, a couple of years ago it had a big overhaul and I must admit it is impressive, we were in late afternoon, the main bar area straight off the street is spacious and surprisingly bright, not sure if they do line dancing in there, it's certainly big enough. Decent pint and not taking your eyes out. Hopefully when the "town centre" is rebuilt it will be able to attract more punters....

This is so good not just food which is gorgeous. The staff. Even the manager takes time to chat with you. Service great if busy may need to wait. But I don't mind when they tell you from the off.
