Extremely disappointing. Staff not very attentive, weren't made to feel welcome. The food was so bland and badly presented. All three of us had chipped plates and stained serviettes. The rice and naans were served in cheap plastic bowls and baskets. The sauces looked like they were from a jar, no flavour to them. None of the dishes resembled their title. We're all regular curry eaters and would not recommend this place for authentic Indian cuisine.

Very Dissapointed , poor hygiene, tasteless just order for take out the vegetable mix curry and got a red tomato sauce dish with potatoes nothing like a veggie curry , also ordered the biryani king prawn, rice was dried left over type of rice and that was definitely not king prawns . Samosas and nan quiet taste less .Would not recommend (king prawns photo attached )

A friendly welcome, ordered our drinks & given time to peruse the menu. From order, to plate & to the table seemed no time at all. We could not fault our choices, with each course full of flavours. What an amazing meal & evening we had. Thanks again to the team of chefs & waiting staff who took care of us the evening.

Our meal was booked well in advance for a family members birthday, we turned up to be told that we would have to come back in 10 minutes. The tables were having to be re arranged by our group because the staff did not create a group table for us. Once seated we had to wait around 30 minutes to receive popadoms. We then had a long wait to have our order taken. our group had to wait nearly 2 hours to receive our meal! The food once it finally began to come out had no system implemented as people had their curry on the table however they had to wait for ten minutes to receive the rice causing the curry to go cold. When we attempted to simply ask if there was a problem or reason that some peoples food was taking longer to come out they would respond with a passive aggressive tone telling us to "wait as they are really busy". The staff also spilt food on the table when they were taking dishes, they moved a chair from behind a member of the group without warning them which could have caused an embarrassing accident for our family member. The staff also requested for us to give them the plates rather then simply asking if it was ok for them to reach for the plate. Whilst we were waiting for 2 hours for our food there were half a dozen take aways going out the door demonstrating a clear lack of consideration or priority to the people that they already had patiently waiting for an absurd amount of time for a simple meal. The staff were passive aggressive the whole night, they made us feel as if it was our fault rather then accepting that they had over booked and clearly understaffed for something that they had weeks to prepare for. Some days are simply bad days however you are supposed to make customers feel welcome and maintain a polite demeanour, the staff at no point apologised for the delay or gave any forewarning that there could be a delay on our food. The food was cold by the time we finally became able to eat it and the naan bread was overcooked. The staff clearly did not care for basic customer service, no apologies or acknowledgement for their attitude or mistakes were made. When you eat at a restaurant that is also a takeaway restaurant you do not expect to be treated like you are dining at the Ritz however this was by far the worst dining experience i have ever experienced. I truly hope for their sake that they learn from their mistakes and do not put another family or customer through a...

Not at all happy to be leaving such a review for a place we feel was head and shoulders above the rest in St. Austell. Reading previous comments, it appears there is new management in place; would this explain the lacklustre service and clear lack of customer care that followed?

Order placed 18:21 on Saturday evening. Food did not arrive til 20:35.

How it takes over 2 hours to prepare 4 curries, 1 rice, and 2 naans I will never know. I could have gone to LIDL, bought the ingredients, got home, prepped cooked and turned my dishwasher on in that time. Isn't the whole concept of a 'takeaway', to speed things up and be fairly quick anyway!?

The delivery driver arrived frustrated and appeared to reveal some 'home truths' of perhaps what is happening here, which didnt exactly paint the business in a shining light

What disappointed me the most, is that I had to phone 3 times to check on things, and I was quite clearly lied to by the colleague on the phone, because I was told on one call that the food had been dispatched, but when I called a 2nd time, I was informed that the driver had only just got back so our food would be coming out first... so the stories clearly didn't add up.

Food was nice when it arrived, which was some comfort, but to pay £40 for that??? Will certainly be the last time. Off to Indian Ocean in Tywardreath which was quicker, and way more...

Can’t fault the service Food was absolutely fantastic but we didn’t feel welcome ! We were told we had a 1 3/4 hour slot which was fine . We barely sat down and were asked if we wanted to order drinks and pappadoms - great . Starters came out quickly , dinner straight after - my friend was eating and the guy almost took her plate away at one point ! Then the dessert menu was on the table which we declined as we hadn’t had time to digest our dinner - straight away he bought the bill and was standing there with the machine - all this in an hour !! We sat finishing our drink but felt like we needed to be out the door so despite there being plenty of empty tables we left - we technically still had 25 minutes and had indigestion. . Again , lovely food , lovely waiters but the guy with glasses - a little bit...
