I went for brunch with my wife this morning. The cafe is situated in the old waiting room at the old Wilmington train depot in hull. For maps put in Foster street/ Cleveland Street. On entry on the left are some old pictures of how things used to be . Fascinating. My father used to work in the signal box for the railways there. The interior is very rustic. We had a medium and a large breakfast which was fresh cooked and served very quickly. It was hot and tasty and came with plenty of toast. Tea or coffee is included. Total price was just under 13 quid. The staff are very friendly and we was made to feel very welcome. This to me is a transport cafe but in the top league. No frills or fancies just good old fashioned grub at a very reasonable price with excellent staff.

The Wilmington cafe is an excellent cafe in the old Wilmington station waiting room on the site of the old hull to Withernsea railway. It's a proper working man's café. The food is excellent from hot sandwiches to a full English breakfast. There is a good choice of food on the extensive menu. A cosy cafe with a wood-burning stove, old photos of the railway and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I've been here a few times now over the space of a year. Each time has been fab.

The food here is great and a massive selection to choose from, all homemade. Drinks are a bit fewer but still a decent selection. Would be better if they did Fanta, however, I understand Fanta is dearer for buisnesses to get.

The breakfast I had last week was hot, fresh and a very generous size. The bacon was not fatty which was a pleasant surprise. I had a rocky road a couple of days before. The rocky road was unique and interesting, especially the top of it.

The staff have at least a basic understanding of additional needs and disabilities. They accommodate as much as they can. The cafe if accessible to people in wheelchairs, you might need help with the door though.

The interior of the cafe itself is beautifully decorated with photos of its past as the train station's waiting room. A log fire keeps everyone warm.

The only downside to Wilmington Cafe is that there are no customer toilets from what I could see.

I would definitely recommend coming here, especially for the...
