Excellent choice of food, from cooked breakfasts, burgers, toasties and jacket potatoes (served most of the day) to sandwiches, salads, and cakes, with local specialities and national favourites, as well as good coffees, teas and all sorts of other drinks. They have a separate gluten-free menu, including the full English breakfasts, and a good selection of GF cakes. You can even choose white or brown GF bread! Dog- and walker- friendly, and they have crafting activities and pottery-painting in the building next door if you fancy doing something indoors. The only slight annoyance is other users who drag their chairs across the tiled floors!

The Old Barn Tearoom situated along Chapel Gate is a few yards from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Centre and enjoys convenient access to those on the move looking for prompt service and no-fuss food. Prices were reasonable, service was friendly, and the tables were cheerfully set. Malham is a place for the outdoors, so the tearoom is practically appointed too for those with backpacks and dogs. Monday opening is not a problem for a hotspot like Malham, so Monday morning hikers can look forward to a hearty breakfast after the ardour of a long car ride to begin a day's hike.

We called in for lunch before our Circular walk from malham to Janet‘s Foss and across Gordale scar to the top of the Cove and back down to the village , We had a burger and a Bacon and Brie toastie and two lattes coming to a total of just over £19 which we think is very good value for money, The CAFE was very busy clean and the staff were very polite with plenty of outdoor seating .The CAFE is also dog friendly , I can highly recommend this CAFE on your visit to Malham for A full meal or just one of the lovely cakes

A good place with a good choice of meals and cake. The seating is also good outside or in. Apart from the standard menu they very good specials. Today's one of the specials was lasagna and it was really good some of our group had the classic and others had vegetarian lasagna and both tasted great and we all enjoyed it. Tried to varieties of cake all good. They also ha e ice-cream section on one side tried a few flavors again all good.
