What a lovely conversion - you can still see where it was a library and they've kept the theme going by having lots of books as decoration/book swap (I assume it's a swap as there was nowhere to put money!) It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning, particularly because it was raining - great to see local places thriving. The service was a little slow - a lot of staff but they seemed overwhelmed. Great village cafe/bar/restaurant with a different vibe at different times of day...it's a regular haunt for me and the four year old (flat white for me, babyccino for him), and they do fantastic pizzas as well, with seasonal specials. The soft serve ice cream machine is a welcome addition, with a range of toppings and sauces to choose from. There's outside seating too, which is covered on days with less predictable weather.
