What a wonderful wee dog-friendly cafes this is, in the heart of Cawood, North Yorkshire. It's part of a shop/Deli/Post Office. I had poached eggs with bacon and mushrooms on Sourdough Toast from the Specials Board and a Mocha. Both were delicious. My wife arrived from her hairdressing appointment and thoroughly enjoyed the spicy carrot and lentil soup with melted cheese on granary toast. A connoisseur of soups, she loved it. I also had The Buttered Yorkshire Brack with Wensleydale Cheese with a Drizzle of Honey. It was to die for. The Brack was so moist, fruity and succulent. We were given a bowl of water for our wee dogs. Yes, dog-friendly too. What a gem this is. A lovely cafe with lovely people. We WILL return. WARNING! Just bland... No real flavour to the sausages... Or anything... My egg was over done... The potato rostie wasn't crispy.. £6 each was expensive for the quality and size that we got.
