Visited on a lunchtime for the first time and no greeting to be had and we had to ask about where to sit. We sat waiting for someone to take our order until my wife saw the sign order at the bar.

I placed our order at the bar then noticed another sign directing us to cutlery and condiments hence I went over and collected them.

A young girl approached the table and said “tea” I replied this is for my wife” and she then said “this is yours” placing my latte down. Definitely no pleasantries to be shared in this establishment but I will put this down to having a very shy young girl employed there.

I ordered the beef sandwich and I think they were trying to make it similar to a pulled pork sandwich which unfortunately failed miserably. Basically it was shredded beef in gravy that resembled slop in the cheapest bun you could buy. My wife ordered a baked potato which she said was ok but no way near as good as Irvine’s.

Such a shame as this is a new business and will definitely need to up there game to survive in such a...

I just want to share my upmost gratitude and thanks to the wonderful assistance I was recently provided. I am super greatful. I forget ladies name with dark hair but she's a credit to the business in many ways. Shame about the unwanted people in high viz who turn up and ruined my beautiful coffee. I'm Sorry to have been an inconvenience and I'm forever grateful for the help and coffee. I highly recommend the coffee, hospitality and chocolate brownies for anyone...

However on leaving a older staff member thanked us for our visit and was very pleasant. Really need to sort staff out as not first review re...

We stayed in Roxy’s Cottage at the Causey Arch this weekend alongside the Tea Rooms and had an amazing time! The cottage was done out so lovely inside and nice and spacious with everything you need. A very relaxing weekend due to the surroundings, lovely walks and it’s attached and owned by the Tea Rooms which do lovely food and have fantastic service. We absolutely loved our weekend away and will absolutely return!

Fast and friendly service. Very generous portions and all food cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere in there too. Dog friendly Good prices High chairs available Dogs get a free sausage too đŸ„° Specials on the chalk board + on front of menu and good range of cakes and scones too which we're both beautifully made! Will be returning in the new year!
