The Railway — Restaurant in England

Really Nice and Clean decor, very welcoming and the other customers, just like the staff, are really friendly and not made to feel like should get out of their pub, which occurs in alot of other establishments. The alcohol takes lovely and you can tell that this place is well looked after and the lines were obviously kept clean, as you can tell how good the drinks are supposed to taste like when you realise the difference from other places and how well they are looked after. Although the alcohol was great, they also do food and you could easily make the mistake of thinking this is a proper restaurant. Outside there is an open and spacious smoking area which doesn't really interfere with non smokers wishing to sit outside in the garden. As a large percentage of adults nowadays have children, they have also been considered about as there is a play area with swings and obstacles, as well as an in ground trampoline.

They show alot of sports on the multiple wall mounted TVs and to add to the sports side of things, there are darts which can be played and the opposite end of the pub there are 2 pool tables, which are really nice as used frequently. If you didn't realise when looking around by the pool tables, there's a set of doors that leads to a massive spacious function room with 4 more pool tables which reinforces this pubs reputation as a sports bar. The Railway, home to 4 teams of gifted individuals who represent North Somerset's Blackball County Pool Squad, so it's definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy pool and wanted a challenge.

With the pub being directly opposite the Yatton train station, literally a stones throw from the train platforms, so what more would you need in a place that's easy to get to, welcoming, satisfy's thirst and hunger and provides numerous different things to do whilst there if you don't want to sit down the whole time. At the end of the night and sometimes a bit worse for ware after possibly listening to one of the live bands that regularly play there, you don't have to walk far to catch a train back or continue...

I tried to take a picture before i ate this beautiful breakfast!, As you can see I did not have enough time... I had the regular breakfast and I will say it was cooked to perfection, I literally could not fault a single thing on it, the egg tasted of 12, by that I mean it took me back to when eggs had taste, the bacon was soft and very nice indeed not too salty and far from my usual Crispy preference but definitely the best way to eat it!. The wait for this perfection was close to 25 minutes but we'll worth the wait and more 10/10. The ladies here were chatty and very friendly all that you could want in a host, I would take them home if I could but I just haven't got the space. The decor of this pub is old with a little new thrown in in perfect balance, it's warm cozy and inviting, I wish I could have stayed but when i nodded off after my breakfast I made some snore type noises that disturbed the other patrons so i left abruptly. A lovely place to drink. Very big inside and out, especially the garden. Also has play area and trampoline for kids. Lots of indoor and outside seating. A nice variety of drinks at very reasonable prices. Very polite and friendly staff, that were very attentive to the service given, and whislt getting our drinks ready to our specifications. The food was absolutely amazing in taste and price. And came out fast too. In a perfect position opposite the little train station in yatton too. Highly recommended place to drink and eat any time.
