DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES OR DIABETES: Asked the young guy behind the bar if the bbq chicken filet burger could be swapped to gluten free buns. He said “I think they are GF tbh” (in the menu it says all burgers are served in a “brioche style bun” “so I was suspicious because nowhere ever has GF buns as standard. I said “if it isn’t gluten free, I’m happy to have it without a bun because i am gluten free” which i repeated twice as i wasnt sure he was understanding me. The burger shows up BREADED- no mention of that on the menu- says its an “American style fried chicken filet burger”- no mention of breading. And i specifically said I was GF. He says he checked with the chef and the bun is “definitely ok”, whilst handing me a brioche bun and a breaded chicken burger. My gluten intolerance is not life threatening but I have family members who have severe coeliac, so i find the sheer ignorance this kid displayed really shocking and worrying. Later on I asked a different older woman bartender if I could alter a pitcher drink on the menu to include sugar free lemonade instead of full sugar because I have digestive issues and cant handle it. I was flat out just told “no” because “the lemonade is from the gun, and the sprite zero is in bottles so it would be too expensive to do.” Again, no consideration that there might be a dietary requirement or to offer me an alternative price or a work around. I am left seriously doubting the safety and training of the staff here to handle allergies, diabetes and other potentially life threatening scenarios- total lack of care and consideration. I have lived in the area for years and watched the pub go in and out of business- maybe start with some basic quality customer service like handling your responsibility under the law to not hurt anyone or worse…. And you might stay open more...
Read moreAbsolutely shocking experience there, arrived for dinner and the girl was wearing a hoodie without any waiters uniform and refused to speak to my disabled nan like a human being and told her they'd do her a kids portion without even asking her, absolutely humiliating! On top of that we waited 45 minutes after being seated and they didn't even ask for our orders. Don't go if you want to be spoken to as if you're a...

The young girl was trying her best to hold everything together and was very sweet with our son, but the rest of the staff were largely clueless and service was disjointed and slow. toilets were disgusting and I'm fairly sure they gave me food poisoning. Probs fine for a drink but I wouldn't eat...
