Very quiet pub but thought we'd try for Sunday lunch, 6ppl. Great decor inside, seems recently refurbished. Food was outstanding! The Sunday 3-roasts to share was incredible. Beautifully displayed on a board. Pork belly, beef and chicken cooked to perfection. Giant yirkies, stuffing loaf, veg and amazing cauliflower cheese. Burger and rump steak also brilliant. Surprised it was so quiet as excellent pub, lovely decor, fab food and fair prices. Perhaps they need some marketing and promotions to get people in.

This pub has really become the place to be in the last two years since it changed ownership -- the refurb has given it a modern feel whilst maintaining its historic features, the staff are friendly and welcoming, brill sports room with pool table, great range of drinks and the food is excellent! They do a mega fish and chip dinner deal on a Friday better than any takeaway in Northwich. Well worth a visit! (The Mrs stole half my chippy sausage 🙄)

Lovely place with excellent food. Had mushroom risotto which was tasty and lovely. Also Arctic Slice was excellent. Served beautifully and delicious. Friend had small portion fish and chips- for the price it was very reasonable. It was enough for someone with a smaller appetite. All in all a very nice few hours spent with attentive service and a warm atmosphere. Many thanks - we shall be back!

Antagonising, entitled manager who thinks she’s okay to be rude to people (who have already presented legitimate ID’s to bar tender) and will wait until people have already drank their drinks to come check IDs herself (it’s legal requirement for establishment staff to check ID’s are legit before the serving and consumption of alcohol btw) in hopes of fining them “£5000” which she so nicely will threaten after forcing very personal information out of you for no reason while “checking”. What a way to make young people feel welcome at your establishment :D I’m sure anyone you treat like this will love to come back in...

Been a few times now and never been disappointed. Staff can't do enough for you and felt in no rush to leave .They went out of there way to suprise my daughters birthday with candles and all staff singing the happy birthday song Food was to die for. the chef didn't go short on filling the plates ...all grown veg and done to el Dante standards my quests complemented me on my choice of venue and that was down to the Ring of Bells (They said they will return) Well done to all the staff in making it a pleasurable experience Regards Ray
