The Round Bush — Restaurant in England

Went in on 19/05 for a sunday roast, when walking in we noticed 3 women at the bar chatting away without even noticing us coming in, we sat down and then we went to order… we asked for 2 orange juices… the lady asked if its fresh orange juice we’re wanting to which we said yes, and then we saw her pouring the orange juice from a carton (hardly fresh), then while still standing there we proceeded to ask for 2 sunday roasts…. to which the lady was super surprised and said they don’t serve roasts anymore, then another lady explained that they are in the process of changing the menus…. but didnt offer anything else instead?! I would be there all day guessing what is available and what is not, and then asked me (THE CLIENT!) if they are still on the menu??? unbeliavable! What I was ordering I have found on the menu at the table, and have found the same menu online before our arrival so I was very confused and very disappointed, no information anywhere that this is the case. We then walked to our table to get our stuff and decided to leave, to which one of the ladies have followed us to the table and asked if we’re taking the drinks from the bar?? to which we said no, and then I showed her the menu, and she just looked at it, and then we left. Not a sorry not even a word… very disappointed with the staff and the attitude, especially the eye rolling… definitely not a place I would recommend to anybody and wouldnt visit again. Nasty attitude, never in my life have I experienced something like this. Unwelcoming and the ladies were very unapproachable, not even trying to look friendly.

EDIT* If thats what your staff is saying then you should really question their honesty!! Had the most horrible experience in the round Bush today. Ordered a starter and main. They brought the starter out with the mains... then when I asked why have you done that.. I got a reply of why not. You have to say if you want the starter out first.... I DID!!! then they just put it all down in front of us anyway. Which then we found our mains where stone cold. I then asked for a full refund on mains as they looked horrible and also where stone cold. To which then a older gentleman ( the chef) came stomping over to our table and rudely asked me why we don't want the mains. I replied with ... there cold and look horrible he said I can warm them up in the microwave. And that's why I want my money back he then murmured something under he's breath and walked away... no apology and no money back I still had to go ask for it back before we left. I've been a regular at The Round Bush for a year, and it's always been my go-to spot for a relaxing pint or a delicious meal.
