Absolutely superb Sunday lunch. Starters were fabulous. I had the.deep fried halloumi with chilli dip and my wife had hot and spicy garlic prawns. Neither disappointed. Main course was fabulous Sunday lunch fayre. Mrs M went for the beef, I went for sticky ham. Both were brilliant, accompanied by the usual veg, the cauliflower cheese and roasties were exceptional. A couple of pints of well looked after Loweswater gold and a bottle of merlot set us up nicely for desert. Sticky toffee pudding. WOW, absolutely stunning. All served safely and the staff take the covid regulations exceptionally seriously. One of the north lakes best kept secrets. Thank you, best of luck with whatever covid regulations throw you and we will hopefully see...

I would recommend the mustard glazed ham, but it’s all good and if they have the ginger sponge on the desert menu then go for it 😊. Make sure you are hungry though, I would suggest...
