Awful place, used to be lovely but the landlord is sulky, hasn't a clue how to pour a pint, is really slow to serve and argues with his wife in front of customers. The staff are great, the beer is good, the furnishings are nice, but it lacked some atmosphere. I have only visited it in the evening and have no idea if there is any lunchtime menu. Been a few times the past few months and very quiet,everytime literally 4 ppl in last time we went and 2 were staff, good sized pub though just been empty whenever we've been,staff are nice too but pricey,tenner for 2 vodkas,i think beehive across roads cheaper and thats known for its higher prices.Still im sure its great on its busier...
