1st visit Went out for a lovely evening meal, table service was lovely, then the meal arrived... Food was freezing cold literally cold, we told the waitress quietly she was very apologetic, the meal was taken away nit sure if it was just blitzed in the microwave but alot warmer on return. Now due to pay my bill I have a blue light card so thought well due to the experience I knew I was getting 20% off my bill when the manager I think (mature lady )said I could have 20% off my bill due to the cold meals served she basically said because I had a blue light card that would be my 20% off!!!! Not thinking straight I was horrified as I still paid the price that I would of paid anyway !!!! SO NO DISCOUNT OF GOOD WILL REALLY. A month later we decided to give them another try benefit of the doubt, we took some friends with us and there dog for an evening meal, had to sit in the bar for our meal but that was fine we understood that. The service you get from the bar side is completely different to the restaurant side you need to order at the bar which is fine but the staff, their whole customer service changes They are rude and ignorant the grunts and Miserable faces you get when just asking for sauces cutlery you best take your own saves upsetting them. Food was warmer than last time but seemed to have ran out of some food so ended up with alternative option's Not to sure if I will be rushing back too soon. Just a suggestion to the staff, you can use less muscles smiling and it does not cost anything it might even make you feel better and you will even make the customer's feel...

Wow...where to start . we stopped by for a lovely Sunday Roast for 4people. Sat down to a wet table that had not been cleaned, Dirty menus in hand all 4 of us selected the Roast beef. Order Placed And payed for . Now for the 20minute wait .... As the Waitress approached our table she handed us two Roast Beef dinners . When the other two plates arrived there was confusion on which table these two particular Roasts were for .. finally all correct . Dirty Cutlery was dumped in the middle of the table and Sauces were brought in little plastic pots with no spoons so was expected to use our own knifes and dirty up the pots between the 4 of us. After that palava we all started tucking in to what looked like a lovely Roast dinner. The dinners to say the least were luke warm and one of our party of 4 had to send theirs back to be microwaved as cold. Whilst waiting for the cold dinner to come back warm,the 3 of us tried tucking back in . 10 minutes wait and the dinner was still not returned to our table . The bar lady ...manager or waitress was made aware that we still hadnt recieved the sent back meal and was oblivious as to what meal was missing, even though she took the plate back to the kitchen herself. Finally all 4 plates were back on the table but the quality of the food was disgusting. Rock hard veg, fatty meat soggy yorkshire puds,barely cooked cabbage and a stuffing ball that would of been amazing in a round of golf. sorry Thumbs down this time. My husband went to order from the bar round about 5.15 .My husband went to order the rump Steak melt wrap but what arrived was the dreadful Rump Steak Yorkshire Pudding Wrap. I actually said to the person who bought the meal to us. This is different and proceeded to eat it.I said to my husband after opening the wrap up this is not what I wanted it was supposed to have lettuce etc. its note even like a wrap and this is just a mushy mess with stuffing in it and I said "it's like a Yorkshire Pud" which I hate. I went over to the bar staff to complain. Answer : "The wraps are served before 5 pm and I assummed you wanted the Yorkie Wrap" We were not aware that there were two types of Rump Steak wraps. Anyway after complaining which got me no joy whatesoever other than "Nobody else makes that mistake and the Rump Steak wrap is served before 5 pm. I gave my husband the chips, left the peas, left the Yorkshire pud wrap and just ate the few pieces of steak. Sorry but thumbs down for the service not given.
