We were visiting from California and were at my nephews in Beaconsfield. He know that I love Pubs, and decided to take us to this elegant Pub called the Three oaks. The tables are well spaced apart,it was interesting that they had an air purifier with ultra violet light on a wall, really thoughtful . The service in-spite of us being there towards the end of service hours for lunch was excellent, attentive and helpful. The wine list was extensive and the food was delectable. All in all an excellent experience

Lovely Sunday lunch for 3 at The Three Oaks, Gerrards Cross. Our order:- two Halibut and a Sunday Roast Pork belly. For dessert we ordered a Sticky toffee pudding and the Creme Brulee. The staff kindly accommodated our request that one of the Halibut to not have the Vermouth sauce, which was substituted with a fish stock sauce. All the dishes were excellent & the customer service was faultless. Highly recommended and cannot wait to return. Our total bill for 3 was about £140.

We had lunch after our wedding at The Three Oaks last weekend and we can’t thank Wes, Tom, and the team enough. From the moment we arrived everyone was so friendly and kind. The food was absolutely fantastic and every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced for such a high level of service and quality. Thank you to the team who all went above and beyond to make the day even more special for us - we’ll remember it forever.

We had a wonderful lunch and we love the food presentation and quality rather than quantity. It was a shame though that it took over ages for the main course to arrive as they were really busy. Due to that my friend had to rush off to do her school run and return to finish the pudding. But the lovely touch was that they actually presented us with 2 little plates of dessert for our birthdays despite that we had to postpone our birthday lunch by a week. As one of our birthday dessert ice cream has melted due to the school run, they presented us with another which was really impressive. I will definitely recommend friends to this restaurant and will definitely visit again. This restaurant is especially good for those who needs to be on a...

Update (July 2022): still excellent. They now have tables for six in pods outside which give shelter from rain and wind - blankets available.

We have never had a meal here that was less than excellent. The food is creative; the menu is short but changes frequently. It's one of the few places where I can order something from the menu, even if it looks uninspiring, and know that they'll exceed my expectations. The wine list is similarly short, but high quality and well thought out, the staff knowledgeable and helpful, and the service excellent. The only negatives? It's not cheap (but good value) and it can be difficult to get a table. We've lived in the area for around five years, and it's still one of our favourite places...

I need to apologise for taking so long to write this review... and yes, I am talking "years"... guess I have been too selfish and simply indulging in everything The Three Oaks has to offer by myself (and more recently with my fiancée). This is hands down the best gastropub you will find in at least a 5 mile radius (and likely a heck of a lot more)! Beautiful, cosy and well designed venue married with (i) the most friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff (a special shout out to WESLEY), (ii) incredible food & (iii) a wine list fit for the finest sommelier! Despite living 25 mins away, this is my "LOCAL" spot for amazing food, wine and ambience! Can't recommend this...
