Nice place overall. Looks like it is still in a period of transition as there are some new features such as the furniture and some new panelling but there are still many traits of the old Winford Arms so it looked like a hybrid of the old and new. We were seated quickly and our drinks arrived promptly, however there was a significant wait for our meals to arrive and when the mains were brought to the table one meal was missing. We asked waiter about this who came across as rather nonchalant. He casually threw condiments requested on the the table from his apron pouch and told us that the pizza we were still waiting for was two minutes away. When challenged about this a few minutes later he appeared slightly embarrassed that we had needed to ask him again and was chuckling like it was somehow amusing to him. He mumbled something about going to get it sorted and eventually gave us an apology under his breath before walking off. He didn't check in with us for the rest of the evening to ask us if everything was OK. This was not indicative of the waiting staff in general as our main waitress was very polite and apologetic regarding the missing order even going as far as telling us that the pizza would be taken off the bill which was much appreciated. When the meal did arrive moments later it was of a good quality. Great dessert served too. In the end we enjoyed the food but some aspects of the service were lacking and hopefully as time goes on this will improve on...

Would give 0 stars if it was an option!

After attending a funeral of my grandmother we decide to go for a meal at what was her favourite pub, we had booked a table in advanced and at no point was asked what the occasion was. On arrival the blonde older bar maid asked what the occasion was for told us they don't do wakes! This wasn't the wake it was a family get together for some food after a bad day which I explained to the bar maid. They then we're happy to take our money off us for food and drinks. there was 15 off us would have been a few hundred pound! Then they told us we had a 2 hour time limit and would no longer serve us even tho we had moved from the table. When questioned on the reasoning the older bar maid then told us it was due to an incident in the past after a wake again she was told this is just a family meal. we left the table area in the same condition as finding it and had not caused any trouble! We will not be attending this pub again and the food and service was appalling and the staff could not be any more insensitive. I would not recommend this pub to anybody. The staff here managed to make a bad...

Booked a table for 20 people to have a family meal. Upon arrival the staff questioned the occasion and we explained that we had come for a family meal and meet up. Paid for 15 meals, spending a few hundred at the bar. We were asked to leave as they "Didn't cater for wakes" after a family member passing. Completely disgusting behaviour from the staff.. but only after we had put a good few hundred in their till.

Baby changing facilities were shoddy, could just about get the table down and it took up the whole toilet!

Food was appalling for the price! Two members of the group were ill including a pregnant woman! Dreadful food service as the staff started to clear our plates before we had finished our food. Completely outraged with our experience, considering we have been loyal customers as a family for over 20 years.

After making the owners aware via a review they were rude, inconsiderate and ill mannered about our experience. Still waiting...

Beautiful venue inside and out. Lovely views. Garden for the kids. Really good food. Not cheap but representative of the quality of the food. Kids meals very good value for the quality at £9. Big main course that they couldn't finish plus dessert. My older son; big appetite and traditional palate demolished his and his sister's leftovers. He had fish and chips. Pizzas were fresh & huge with wonderful topping. Extra side of fries for the kids & my pizza were really crispy & very good. Staff were really friendly. Food was quick. Place should be busy every night! Fabulous!

Had a lovely lunch with my family before dropping them at Bristol airport. Italian themed restaurant with an extensive menu. Lovely decor and furnishings inside. Very friendly and helpful staff made our lunch really pleasant. I would recommend this place for fans of Italian food. You won't be disappointed.
