We visited for lunch and departed extremely disappointed by the whole experience. While the location is beautiful, the food and service left a lot to be desired. We ordered three cheese and chutney sandwiches and three teas and had high expectations given the hefty £24 we were charged. We were presented with limp sandwiches in brown paper bags with limited amounts of grated cheese and the lightest spread of chutney. Given the fact we thought we were visiting a 'farm kitchen' there was no kitchen in sight. Instead, we had to order our lunch through a serving hatch and collect it ourselves once it was prepared.
