This was my first visit here,& I must say,I was greeted with a friendly smiling face. The lady was polite & welcoming. I ordered 3x jerk chicken dinners, 1 stew chicken dinner & a bbq chicken dinner/sides. After getting back home & dishing it all up, one let me tell you about the portions, furthermore it’s the following day & I’m having the rest for lunch, nuff said,.. secondly,so much intense flavours, the rice & peas perfectly cooked, the whole family enjoyed the meal thoroughly. & I must say a thank you to the lady in the back, that didn’t charge for the salad & also put in a wicked pasta salad. The customer service coupled with the delicious flavours of the Caribbean takes me right back to Jamaica! The warm smiles, the friendly faces behind the counter are resonant with the jubilant personalities Jamaican are well known and loved for. I had the Jerk chicken dinner with rice and peas and salad, with a sorrel drink. The food was freshly cooked, most delicious flavours and the sorrel is one I’ll be buying in bulk for my summer parties. I drive lorries and was on an overnight stay over in Tilbury and decided to get some food in the town. This place was hands down one of the nicest places to go for Caribbean food. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a big welcome. Tropical treasures does the best jerk chicken I have ever had.. it was juicy and full of flavour.
