Wellington's Cafe and Bistro — Restaurant in England

This was not a cafe I knew about before several people I know started to work there. The disclaimer is that I know people that work there, but this review represents my views of this cafe.

You'll be surprised by how busy this place can be, but that just shows its popularity. The staff are friendly and know all their regulars well. Once you've visited you'll see why they have regulars. The cafe has a surprisingly extensive menu that allows you to not only enjoy an all day breakfast, but also a range of full meals, sandwiches and some great cakes. Even if you just want a freshly made coffee, this place will offer you a welcome break.

Whether you need some freshment while shopping in the garden centre, or are simply driving on the A5, drop in, have a drink, some cake and if you've time...

Beautiful cafe, staff are very friendly and helpful. Great range of food available, didn't have any food today but what I saw being bought out looked delicious!

I had a large mocha with oat milk, which was really yummy, and my grandmother had a pit of tea which she says she enjoyed.

The cafe itself is very cosy, there is plenty of seating and it feels very open, not all cramped in, like some places. The atmosphere is comfortable, friendly.and inviting, the music choices today were brilliant (personal preference, probably not to everyone's taste but 'come on Eileen', A bit of Whitney Houston & a few backstreet boys hits are always winners for me!) And we were able to just sit, relax and chat for a while with a nice hit drink.

More a restaurant/bistro than a cafe. Very little choice if you don't want a hot meal. No sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, tea cakes, Tiffin, flap jack etc that you would expect to find in a cafe for a light lunch or afternoon treat. No sandwiches or kids "sandwich meal/box". There was some cake/gateau but more dessert based. There was one muffin (at 12.15 on Sunday). When we enquired if there were any sandwiches, tea cakes etc we were greeted with a very blunt and negative response. The hot meals looked very nice, but being labeled a cafe I would have expected a lighter...
