Whistle Stop Cafe — Restaurant in England

Not gona lie I'll go up again but my god that parmo was unreal My 1st time  today with 2 friends very friendly staff place is spotless Bacon sandwich and then a lovey cheesecake egg First time at your shop today and all I can say wow be back soon Quiche and vanilla slice was lovely Cakes where lush Beautiful food again and more importantly the cakes are gorgeous thank you Cheese cake was lush I’ve had beautiful strawberry fresh cream cake in the cafe today but it was nothing compared to the cornflake tart I bought to take away 😜 I’ve just had it with custard MY GOD IT WAS AMAZING 😉 will deffo be back for more ❤️ Well done Douglas Desserts 🧁 ❤️ Food was unreal 100% recommen we will be back today Called in on Friday with friends, meals were delicious and only problem with cakes was deciding what to have. Very reasonably priced will definitely be back and recommend to everybody

This is a no frills B & B in Shilden in County Durham situated close to the town centre. The B & B is a flat above the Whistle Stop Cafe. It has three bedrooms, a twin and a double and i believe a single. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable beds. There is a sepetate bathroom with shower above the bath. There is a kitchen with all amenities expected in a kitchen as well as a comfortable lounge with large screen TV. Meals can be either brought in (several local takeaways are available in the town centre) or cooked in the kitchen. Free Wifi is available. Breakfast is served in the cafe below and there is a good full English breakfast available should you require it. If your looking for something not to expensive this is an ideal place to stay especially for a family. It's not the Ritz but it's clean...
