This is a lovely little cafe located at the Buddhist Centre just outside of Pocklington. You can sit inside or outside, ordering at the counter and this is then delivered to your table. It’s a very peaceful setting with wonderful views across the site to the little church and beyond. It’s not a quick coffee stop; it’s a place to stop and reflect. We enjoyed coffee and cakes (very generous portions); they also do panninis. There is a small carpark but we walked from Pocklington, out past the school and along the main road; there is a path but be aware that some drivers drive very fast along there. We returned to Pocklington following a footpath which goes through the KP club grounds and drops down into town. This is part of the Pilgrimage of Grace Heritage Trail and also the Chalkland Way.
