This is a lovely little cafe located at the Buddhist Centre just outside of Pocklington. You can sit inside or outside, ordering at the counter and this is then delivered to your table. It’s a very peaceful setting with wonderful views across the site to the little church and beyond. It’s not a quick coffee stop; it’s a place to stop and reflect. We enjoyed coffee and cakes (very generous portions); they also do panninis. There is a small carpark but we walked from Pocklington, out past the school and along the main road; there is a path but be aware that some drivers drive very fast along there. We returned to Pocklington following a footpath which goes through the KP club grounds and drops down into town. This is part of the Pilgrimage of Grace Heritage Trail and also the Chalkland Way. Well worth a visit to the cafe which is open 7 days per week and a good opportunity to visit the Buddhist Centre and/or explore...

First time here. Lovely location and seating are, very peaceful in natural surroundings. Very disappointed with the choice of food and what I had though it was what they had left one hour before closing. It was a Pannini with melted processed veg cheese with pesto and a sun dried tomatoe. No fresh ingredients such as salad only accompanied by crisps. Really poor quality and lack of imagination, unhealthy and tasteless. To top off the staff let young guys ride their bikes up and down next to the...

For £5 which was the cost of two cups of tea, we got a small teapot for two with one teabag in it. Asked for hot water to eke it out to two cups although this should be given anyway, this was when l discovered the solitary teabag for two people. What do they do when one person wants a cup of tea, cut the teabag in half! What an absolute rip off, won't darken their door again. I wish l had said something now and...

First visit here after it was recommended by friends. It’s at the back of the meditation centre and glad it was signposted inside the building! The prices are very reasonable and we opted for cake and tea, as we came quite late in the day! The conservatory section of the cafe is dog friendly!

Tranquil setting, great coffee & dog friendly. Free Wi-fi if needed and comfortable sofas to relax whilst taking in the surroundings. Only negative is that service can be a little slow at times but overall very good
