This was our first experience to this place since lockdown easing.. I am disabled and found it frustrating that there were no clear signs stating that the entrance to the cafe was now at the front, and having walked around the building to the old entrance overlooking the park I found it was the exit... The notice on the wall indicated that the toilet was in the first floor although it said a lift was available... Good value drinks (the kitchen was closed for hot food by late afternoon) and quick service even with it heavingly busy, but found it all rather oppressively noisy with piped music and a loud kids party in the function room that probably could have been closed off. Good buzz if that's what you want (and clearly plenty do, given the popularity!) but didn't quite suit us now, especially with aging relatives. Read moreWas a cold windy afternoon and had had a good time in the park but the children didn't want to go home we decided to go to the cafe. The door opens outward which is awkward with a pushchair. There is a table right in front of the door that can sit about 6 people so the entrance is difficult. We found a table to sit at and got our drinks of tea and chocolate. By no means the best but 3 drinks were £3.70. Unfortunately there were some very noisy roudy people in which made it difficult to speak to each other so we left. Maybe on another day it...
