Coffee at 108 — Restaurant in England

Liz and her team created our 3 wedding cakes for our wedding a few weeks ago and they were absolutely stunning and tasted amazing! We love the cake at 108 and are regular customers, and wanted to use local businesses in our wedding as much as possible, so it was a no brainer who we were going to ask! Liz and her team were fantastic throughout the process, we had a tasting and a couple of planning meetings which were super useful. We loved the 3 cakes on the day and the guests even more so! I knew this already but, as our main cake was carrot, so many guests commented that it was the best carrot cake they ever had! Liz also created brownie favours for the kids at our wedding and vegan cupcakes for our 3 vegan guests. 10/10 would recommend Coffee at 108 for all things cake. Background. I'm an obsessive coffee nerd who has spent 20 odd years feeling about how coffee should be made and more importantly taste. My first visit to 108 a long while ago now, I was disappointed. The coffee was a little under extracted and not where I'd like it to be. I went back today and witness the barista carefully prepare my coffee and, they did a remarkably good job. Certainly better than any coffee I've had in and around Aylesbury, and better than quite a few badly extracted coffees I've had in some of London's best coffee shops. Very lovely place, they cater for gluten free clients, i had a nice bacon sandwich, bacon was cooked crispy and they made me a sandwitch and half.I assume this was done as GF bread slices are way smaller then normal bread slices (or maybe that is their normal size, i do not know). I thought was a lovely thought, as most of the time when you are coeliac you end up having microsized portion of everything. For some reason it seems that the producing company are under the impression that been coeliac it also mean you have the happetite of a 1year old, but in all actuality is not true!
