I would like to comment on the size of an Americano coffee cup which I believe is too small! When told it would need 5 shots of coffee in the normal size cup so two shots is given in a smaller cup, that says to me that the coffee is too weak! I have never experienced a coffee with the two shots in such a small cup and I have never had a problem anywhere with two shots in the normal size bigger cup. As I said, this points to the coffee being too weak. Everything else was good. Next time I shall go for tea which is a better option and good value for money. Thank you.

Thank you Lucy for your reply, however, I find that the difficulty is that as you have said above, “One of the gentlemen in your group confirmed he enjoyed his Americano in the small cup but just wished it was bigger.” You also said, “Next time you come in, please just order the Americano in a standard cup and let me know if it is too weak for you, I will gladly add an extra shot.” Does this mean more money has to be paid for extra shots for a standard cup of coffee? When a customer orders they expect a normal size portion, is this not the expectation? If a customer is to be served a different size or portion, either a larger or smaller as many places do, should it not be mentioned at the time of ordering or be advertised on the menu? You serve a flat white coffee in a standard cup but say you serve an Americano in a small cup and you also say it would take more shots if it was to be served in a standard cup at 50p extra shot. Does this not point to the Americano being too weak to be served in a standard cup because to mind this is the case? Yes, the Americano was very nice but please let the customer know they will get a small cup not a standard cup when they order and the price needs to reflect this. It looks like we need to agree to disagree on this one and let customers decide for themselves. This is merely my opinion be it right or wrong. Everything else was good. Thank you...

Ages to get served, food was good but small portion. Coffee cold by the time food arrived. First went to this cafe as a biker and back then it was an exceptional experience. However now it has dropped significantly.

Update…. Thank you for taking the time & trouble to reply to my review. Google reviews exists to allow prospective customers to find out what the actual experience was at the time they visited. I appreciate that at the time we visited 2:25 Sunday the cafe was fairly full inside. As we both had dogs we sat outside so as not to disturb your existing customers. At the time we ordered from the specials board chilli con carne & rice + salad plus coffee. We sat down with a few other bikers who were also experiencing delays. In one case one of them had been completely forgotten about!!! When the meal eventually arrived our coffees were stone cold and the meal albeit very tasty and well presented was rather small and better described as a starter. I didn’t want to make a fuss at the time as that is the point of Google reviews. There were plenty of staff not doing much of anything at the time all capable of serving me. I am sure had we have visited at a different time the experience would have been very different, I can only comment on our visit...

What a happy find! Hubby and I stopped here to meet up with friends for a Sunday morning breakfast and we have all been really pleased!

Zoom Bar is very easy to find with a good sized parking area out front. Full table service :)

It’s cosy, comfy and clean with varied seating options including sofas and armchairs as well as tabled seating too. Interesting memorabilia to decorate with model planes hung from the ceiling and a huge notice board!

The menu is great, very varied but still covers all the usual bases. The choices are all equally tasty and interesting and some good healthy options too!

Between us we had the granola with Greek yoghurt, berries, seeds and maple syrup, also the porridge (also with berries, seeds and maple syrup), the pancakes (with bacon, bananas and maple syrup) and the Eggs Hammy.

Everything was freshly prepared, and beautifully presented! A feast for the eyes indeed!

Teas and coffees were great and the staff were all lovely, really friendly and helpful :)

This may have been our first visit but it won’t be our last!...
