At a glance . Cant fault how its been altered . More a re drawing/ line classification than a refurb. The pub wasnt scruffy anyhow . Now its spotless. Manager is a improvement . Mary shouldve gone when mick left . Never interested...it was never service with a smile anyway was it..now diners dont have put up with your bar flies.scummy mummys cant keep there kids in there till last orders tarting about.people who want a quiet game of pool or a chilled out game of cards can do so and not have to be near your average piss head pack hunter . Hygena's that laugh too loud too hard n for too long. Too opionated to boot .....false feeling of security...no safety in numbers .but now its done away with friction that the bad element cause your old skool hasnt got to be near your new . All looks good . Had to deduct a star n rate it 4 . The deducted star is NO WANNA . Mary should be ashamed n the brewery too. The dedication wayne gave to both as an employee of one and freind to the other i say this whole heartedly . 100% .....the fiddle should have been his . If he has earned it who has . Came to have a family meal, ordered 5 meals 2 were the turkey Sunday dinners waited about 40 minutes for the food to come out, when it came out there was no mash, stuffing or pig in blanket on the plate, I went to the bar to see why and the lady behind the bar said they had ran out and we should have been told, if we had have we would have ordered something different. On going back to the table both people said the turkey was cold and the roast potatoes weren't very nice so I went back to the bar this time a man said the manager would come and sort it out, I went and finished my food which wasn't great either to be honest, 10 minutes later I had to go back to the bar to see what was happening. The lady behind the bar apologised and asked what they wanted instead, which was great but we had all finished and ready to go but had to wait another 20 minutes for the the other two meals to be eatten on there own, we had to order more drinks meaning we spent nearly £80 in there, all in all not a great experience. I also noticed the 2 Sunday lunches for £11.99 were actually charged...

Went for a father's day meal, booked a table for 2.15,didnt receive our food till 3.30! When we walked in, we were greeted by a very rude staff member, the food wasn't what we ordered. Very disappointed visit, treated very poorly indeed.

We were greeted by a man, who basically told us, because we didn't have the app, our food would be longer. We told him we didn't have it, he seemed rude and said, we will just have to wait. We did wait, an hour, after being told, we could only stay, an hour and a hafe, so we has to rush our meals, the dad's ordered a rum steak, and got a basic steak and broken knife, my step mum's chicken was cold, some of our drinks were missii also had a disabled child with me, he doesn't do well to waiting long periods of time, we had to take him out, as over an hour for food, set off his autism. We had our wedding meal at this pub, so many memories, but it has really dissopointed us, just because we haven't got Internet on our phone to assess the app, our service was poorng and we had to chase...
