Came here as was recommended from a friend , for an evening out with the family. From when I walked in I thought it was gonna be nice. Although the tables was very close together and with it being so busy you felt as if you were sat right next to the people on the other tables and not on your own table. Now we go to many curry houses and this definitely didn’t feel like a curry house bit more like a local cafe. The manners of staff wasn’t very welcoming. Service was not good one bit now let’s talk about the waiter. He was very rushy and had curry stains all down his shirt which felt really unhygienic talking about hygiene when he went to take the plates of the table to get to one plate he moved my glass by touching or should I say put his whole hand round the rim of the glass where you drink from and I definitely didn’t drink from it after although the jug of water what we were given was really warm had no ice in it and wasn’t nice felt like it was sat there all day. The food quality wasn’t great proportion was ok but now I’m talking I like quality not quantity the food quality was poor the naan was too salty and the rice was watery. Now as you can tell with this review we will not be returning and I will be having words with the friend who is meant to be a friend anyway about this curry...
Read moreOk, been on several occasions to this restaurant and food has been good along with service, however! We booked a table for 3 including our 12 yr old boy on Saturday evening, we ended up waiting an hour and fifteen minutes between our poppadoms and having our main course, on asking the waiter were our food was he replied 5 minutes. Another 15 minutes and we ask again, and reply was 5 minutes. Our boy was hungry and getting restless as was we and when we finally got our food and asked for the bill we had been in the restaurant just under 2 hrs. The restaurant was busy and seemed to have plenty of staff as normal but when our bill came, not a penny off our food. I felt very annoyed at this, yes we had a couple of apologies and would have seen this as a one off as we have been here on several occasions but an hour and fifteen minutes between courses?. We paid the bill without any fuss. Failure not to reduce the bill is my decision never to set foot in this restaurant again as it speaks volumes in how you value your customers, i was going to give just one star for our troubles on this occasion but seen as we had been here a few times without any issues i thought two stars may be...

I recently visited Rajni with two friends on a Tuesday night, and we were blown away by the 5-course meal deal for £13 (we opted to upgrade for £3 to try a different curry from the menu). The value for money was incredible!
I chose to have my curry cooked homestyle, paired with a delicious peshwari naan and pilau rice - it was absolutely brilliant! The flavors were spot on, and the service was top-notch.
I'd highly recommend Rajni to anyone looking for a fantastic Indian meal. I'll be singing their praises to anyone who will listen and can't wait to go back! 👍 If you're looking for a great dining experience, look no...
