The three horseshoe Eat there a few times and Iâve got to say standards have slipped massively the staff are friendly and very attentive canât say a bad word about them
But unfortunately I ordered the bacon burger and when the food came it was below standards as my burger was hard and the bacon burnt also another dish had the pork and that also was below standards and came very tough
We paid the bill of ÂŁ100 not haggling for money off or discount or anything free just accepted it for what I was
But I did want to explain about the poor meals we received which I think is fair
When I did the manager lady came out from the back in gymwear very sweaty and I slight look of Mrs trunchball about her she began to ask what was up in a short tempered way
I told her about my burnt burger and she said the burgers are meant to be tough thatâs how they are, when I told her my bacon was burnt she then said bacon is bacon
My reply was that am sure u had to cook the bacon to burn it
Donât no if the lady was having a bad day but when I said that she ask me to leave would miss this place at all costs
Thereâs lots better places very nearby for much better value if the gym wearing lady was nice and gave apologies this wouldnât be on there
She does look the double of mrs trunchball I ask her for her name but she...

The friendly staff add to the charm, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. A particularly nice touch is the chef personally coming out to check if your meal meets expectationsâa gesture that adds a genuine sense of care and attention to detail.
The food is a standout, with hearty dishes that reflect the best of British pub fare. The lamb shank was beautifully tender, served with creamy parsnip mash and crisp parsnip garnish. Accompanied by roasted vegetables and a rich, flavoursome gravy au jus, it was a dish that ticked all the boxes for a comforting, satisfying meal.
The crispy belly pork was equally impressive, with perfectly cooked meat that was melt-in-the-mouth on the inside and deliciously crisp on the outside. Served with mash potato, roasted vegetables, and a cider gravy, it was a well-balanced dish full of flavour.
This pub offers a lovely mix of rustic charm, quality food, and attentive serviceâmaking it a great spot for a cosy meal in the countryside. If youâre in the area, itâs well...

It was starting to get busy as it was lunch time on a Sunday and the chef and also assuming the manager was stood there having a go at the young lad saying 'come on you should know all this' because he wasn't sure if there was a table for two free. We could tell that this flustered the young lad and felt sorry for him as it wasn't his fault. There's a time and place to bolluck your staff and in front of paying customers is not that time. We decided to go to therose and crown instead and will never go back to this place again. No sounder there always advertising for staff. May be the managers needs...
