Went tonight with my son and daughter in law for a mother's day meal. However the pub had great atmosphere but our food sadly was not good. My daughter in law wanted ribs and was told there was last ones left so she was happy. I had a sirloin steak which looked more like a ribeye and had to leave it as was full of fat. Mushroom was greasy even after being told its done on a griddle !!!. My daughter in laws ribs were just fat on a bone. What a shame. My sons fish and chips were fine. I don't recommend there steaks if it was as bad as mine and the ribs sadly was the last of the evening also. Plus we had to wait an hour for food. I'm so sorry to say that my experience was not good. But sure other people have had much better. Perhaps we booked too late. .But no excuses. But thank you for not charging for 2 meals as like I said , the plates...

On entering the pub I was told to go sit on a table in the corner but not which one. We got put on a tiny table crampt in the corner when there were lots of bigger ones spare. I tapped my card and she rushed away to speak to someone else before the card had even cleared, not a word said, we were both speechless then left when it was evident she wasn't bothered about us. So unwelcoming and I am upset that my husband had that treatment on his birthday. I expect some sort of...
