I desperately wanted this to be the best Thai of my life, considering the reviews i had faith it would wow me. But sadly it really disappointed me. I had chicken satay starter which was really dry :( but the satay sauce was delicious. Then jasmine rice with chicken massaman, the food was too hot to be true, meaning it's definitely been microwaved. The rice was fine but the curry was heartbreakingly bad.. now I'll admit I miss-read the menu, it does say chicken thigh ON the bone, had I read that properly I wouldn't have ordered at all, it's simply a lazy way to cook. Chicken thigh is incredibly moist when cooked without the bone, the bone doesn't add anything but faff and grissle. It also had the skin on which again, just doesn't work in a curry 😬 There was no flavour to the curry :( I really felt I was just eating poached chicken and rice with cashew nuts sprinkled on top. No Thai spices, no sweetness. I also had mouthfuls of grissle which was a huge turn off. I didn't finish my £17 meal 😔 The reason I give 3 stars is because the customer service was delightful, friendly, helpful, smiley! AND I'm hoping I just caught them on a bad day.

My new best take away in Lydney!!!! We had food here for the first time this week and I’m gutted it took us so long to try! The food is amazing cooked perfectly… if you like something different or want to try something new then you will not be disappointed ordering takeout or eating in house here…. If your ordering a takeout though ring early in the day as they only do limited slots and they go fast, we rung at 2.30pm for a 6pm collection as we tried the day before ringing at 5pm and was told they were already fully booked for takeout…… New menu and prices in the pictures below we picked this up 24/04/2022.

Extremely tasty Thai restaurant in Lydney. I was quite surprised how good it was. We ordered a takeaway which came to a very reasonable £85 for 6 people with plenty of leftovers. When picking up the order we noticed ice cream sundaes were on the eat-in menu which looked superb. Star dishes where the Massaman curry and tempura prawns. Legit restaurant, recommend trying.

Even though it was a busy night for takeaways and service was a little bit slow, it didn't take away from the fact that the food was INCREDIBLE. My mum is Thai and I used to live in Thailand (so I can sometimes be a bit difficult to please when it comes to Thai food) and I can hands down say that this is the best and most authentic food that I've had outside of Thailand (I live in Bristol and have sampled many Thai restaurants in Bristol and London). The Tom Yum soup was out of this world and made me feel like I was back in Thailand! The meat in the food we had (chicken and duck) was extremely high quality and was so succulent and tasty! Even though the chef, Ice, was flat out in the kitchen, he personally came out to serve us some of the dishes and make sure we were ok. The decor is beautiful and the bathroom was modern and extremely clean too. I will definitely be making the trip from Bristol to come again, 10/10 restaurant, 10/10 staff, 1000/10 food! Thank you everyone for a...

Went for the first time on a Friday night and it won’t be our last. Loved everything about it, the decor, the background music, the candles on the tables, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and most importantly the food. I had the mixed starter and my husband the chicken satay (I did wish I’d had some chicken satay in my starter too), mains I had the duck curry and hubby the pad Thai, both were excellent. My curry was full of tender meat and fresh fruit and vegetables, never had grapes in a curry before but they were fab and everything was piping hot. Ice the owner came round several times for a chat and checking we were happy, you couldn’t fault his enthusiasm and passion. He persuaded us to try his homemade sugar free white chocolate cheesecake which was very light and delicious. We’ll definitely be back. Booking is advisable as it is popular and take cash if you can to save them the card fees. They do accept...
