Great food and value for money, but chaotic order fulfilment.

Petros are currently offering a home delivery service, either by calling them directly on via the Just Eat platform. When we called they asked for a BACS transfer which included a charge for delivery.

Lead time for delivery was around 2 hours, fine, our expectations had been set. Even so, the order was an hour late, which given the lead time has caused me to rate them as I have.

I accept that flexibility is the order of the day at the moment, but an hour late is a little too flexible I feel - if Petros can’t fulfil an order they shouldn’t be accepting it.

Now the positives:

Shout out the delivery driver, what a great chap, I probably have less of a hard time sitting in a room with Auditors than you did on Saturday, great job Sir.

The food was wonderful, as good as it was when the restaurant was open for sit down meals.

I’ll probably order again, but will be prepared for a long wait and knowing this, will probably not be put...

Honestly super disappointed, over priced for what it is. It's very much an all or nothing place. We were also seated directly Infront of and completely blocking the fire exit.

I got the stuffed vine leaves, a personal favourite, there was only 4 small parcels (about half the size of anywhere else) they were served with a single slice of tomato a single slice of cucumber and a dinner plate full of tzatziki.

My son had the hummus with toasted bread, this had the same problem with a massive amount of dip, this time with 4 1 inch cubes of bread. The hummus was completely flavourless and extremely watery.

I asked for a few olives to be added to my son's pasta, fully expecting to pay around £1 as an extra, however they charged us £4.95 which doubled the price of his meal.

My dad order a medium rare steak with blue cheese sauce, there was barely any sauce and the steak was well-done, he sent it back and got a pretty ok steak but it was...

Really disappointed tonight, I don't tend to leave bad reviews unless it's really bad. Unfortunately our food was stone cold tonight, chips were soggy and very cold, garlic mushrooms very cold, pizzas so cold the cheese had set like the food had been sat for a long time. When your paying these prices you expect edible food and not to have to re heat. I phoned for the guy who answered to have to phone the manager who then came back and said the manager is offering 20% off our next bill, fair enough but what do we eat tonight? 20% is a bit of an insult to be fair, unfortunately we won't be ordering again, one time one of our meals didn't come and we were told it did, after convincing the lady on the phone we didn't receive my husbands food she reluctantly sent it out again, the delivery guy when he came back said yes I only put one wrap in your bag not two. Just too many...

Really underwhelmed after visiting Petros. Staff and atmosphere was nice although we had to move seat as the bulb above us was flickering. The let down was the food, it was very average. My starter of calamari was overcooked and very rubbery with a side of garlic sauce in a styrofoam carton, then my main meal had a nice sauce but the chicken had a texture like it had been boiled rather then grilled or cooked in the oven. It would have been nice to have it served with some sort of veg or salad but it doesn't come with anything. My wife was also disappointed with her meal as the chicken had very little flavour. It was all edible but I don't think we'll be returning.

Exceptionally noisy akin to being in the swimming baths. Ordered garlic mushrooms to start but they must have just been shown the garlic. Just very oily and tasteless. Hoped for better from the mains. Kleftico and Stifado ordered. Two tradition Greek dishes. Kleftico absolutely disgusting and nothing like what the traditional dish is like served with almost raw potatoes. Stifado just pieces of beef in a tomato sauce. It is supposed to be braised with baby onions. Side dish of vegetables also served with almost raw sliced potatoes. Total rip off at £2.95. Compalined about the Kleftico so wasn't charged for it. Certainly won't be returning here

Incredible value, great portions, sublime value for money. Greek is not my leaning, ordinarily, but this offers two-fold in terms of cuisine. Both Greek and Italian combine perfectly at this restaurant. While I pitched for the Italian side of things, I attended with my family who ate some of the Greek food and I found myself jealous of their picks. I can't wait to go back to try more items. As far as the pizza goes, it was fresh, tasty and filling.
