Tudor Rose — Restaurant in Gateshead

This is a great local pub serving the town of Dunston. Locals are friendly (I'm a Teessider) and invite you into their conversations.

The beer is priced exceptionally well and the bar team are really nice who take time to chat to you and make you feel part of their vibe. The owners Andy and Gail are great people and do make you feel welcome. All in all, customer service is great.

You can choose to drink outside under a big awning or take comfort inside the pub itself if the weather isn't favourable. There are also outside seats around the side of the pub that allow you to take advantage of sunny days as they are situated perfectly for the afternoon sun's movements.

The bar is well stocked with all of the names you would expect to see, without the prices of other pubs, which is very appreciated in a world where businesses are trying to screw everyone over for every penny they have.

Quantity with quality!! In a world where we are so quick to complain, I think it’s only fair to praise when deserved; to that end, I have Just dined (lunch) at the Tudor Rose in Dunston. (Kitchen has reopened). I dined with a very picky friend, who complains about anything and everything; we both opted for Mince & Dumplings with mash and proper gravy. Claire and chris are lovely people, couldn't ask for better people to take over the tudor rose. The atmosphere is amazing, proper friendly and professional. Pleased they now have the sports channels. Weekends are amazing with the karaoke, deals on shots are unbelievable. Literally my favourite pub in dunston. Cant wait till they get the food up and going.
