Costa Coffee - Ebbsfleet — Restaurant in Gravesham

Really disappointed. They seemed focussed on Uber/deliveroo orders at the expense of in store customers.

Ordered two flat whites and bacon rolls, the rolls were done, but then waited 15 minutes for the coffee along with a queue of people that had been served but waiting for their orders while order after order was done to Uber/deliveroo. The barista was now clearly rushing and confused,making ours as take away and then having realised redid them for drink in. Had she asked I would have just taken the takeaway cups as this then held things up even more. By the time we sat down with our coffee the food was cold. This place has been amazing during the lockdown and the girls have worked so hard. It's totally frustrating though when there are 2 blue badge parking spaces that more often than not are used by non-blue badge holders. Today we witnessed a man, whom we are lead to believe is the owner, come from behind the counter with his coffees and get into his car that was parked in one of the blue badge spaces and no he didn't have a blue badge on display! Also the uber drivers think these spaces are just for them to go in and collect their deliveries.... non of this behaviour is acceptable. But thank you to all of the girls for their dedication...

The member of staff who took and made my drinks order was brilliant ... the staff member "jeff" who was working the till... only spoke to me when asking for the money ... did not confirm my order nor did he even look up to make eye contact .... he then will I was still processing my card payment proceeded to start chatting and smiling to his friend who was behind me in the queue... the blatant disrespectful behaviour has made me not want to return to this Costa for quite some time tbh....

Shame as the service is normally really good but this "jeff" fellow has lost my business for...
