Hands down the best chippy in Acomb and probably York. Definitely one of the cheapest and the food is of excellent quality, especially the fish. I normally get cod, but they will take the skin off the haddock if you ask. We regularly get the special offer for £15.50. The large sausage is one of the best We've ever had. The fish and chips are beautifully cooked and I always request Cod as I believe the normal fish for this offer is Haddock. The curry sauce is also nice, maybe a bit peppery but nothing to put me off it. Service is always great with happy cheerful staff. As for price?
