Black Rooster Peri Peri Dumbarton — Restaurant in Great Britain

In one word, terrible. Firstly, the website ad is a bit tricky, it looks like a quality restaurant and then you really wonder 😳 Secondly, I admit that we are not native speakers, so it might be more difficult for the workers, but I don't think you should treat your customers like trash or something disgusting on the floor. So now how was our dinner - our group (8 people) arrived around 8:30 an HOUR before the last orders - half the "restaurant" was already closed for the customers so that maybe was the first problem - they have to used the closed part for us to be seated. Then the lady behind the counter was the most unfriendly person I have met during our stay in Scotland (maybe she was glad that we didn't understand her accent and fast talking properly 🤔🤔🤔) so couple of my friends recieved slightly different orders. And me 🤦🏼‍♀️😁 I was the one who ordered the food first and the simplest one, at least I think (tortilla without sides). Then my friends got their meals (not all correctly) and I got nothing, so I went to the lady and informed her about the situation and after that she found my order in the kitchen (semi-cold) . So for me and my friends, I am sure we will never visit this place again and after this experience we will not go to any of their franchises again. Always enjoyed going here...... But lately customer service is SHOCKING. Placed our order as usual order arrives wrong we said polity to the girl who brought it over who tool the whole meal away - it was changed no issue new order was made but chips where cold my wife went over to ask the staff to change the chips and was laughed at in her face (between me and you think the girl knew what she had done) my wife was fuming wife asked for the manager lady approached who was watching all this unfold she said she was the manager nothing was done no apology nothing. buy this time meal was ruined. As we where leaving i approached a an Asian male who i thought was an owner he was aware what happened i told him we will never step foot in this place again he asked did it not get sorted out, at this minute the girl felt the need to but in and justify her stupid actions saying she done us a favour and starting arguing with us NO silly never done us a favour we paid for a meal that you got wrong - if this is the sort of people your employing good luck in the future black rooster

i honestly don't get why when they changed the meal not just give us fresh chips the mentality of her i feel it was done deliberate to make a point.

Going into this establishment for a nice we meal to be faced with nothing but cheek from this one silly immature...

Shocked how poor the service was.

Ordered dips that weren't provided, ordered 4 meals and a side of halloumi fries and an ice blast.

Mozzarella sticks came instead of halloumi fries so i advised of this and was told that I was wrong. Despite the fact I have ordered these from other black roosters. Previous times they have came with a chilli jam, no jam was provided, the cheese game out the breadcrums as uncooked mozzarella would, and the biggest give away, they tasted like mozzarella and not halloumi. Shocked I was provided a cheaper item and then completely dismissed when this was raised.

We were told the ice blast would take 10minutes. After 10 minutes we were told the red side needed longer to ice, after half an hour we were told the opposite colour needed longer to ice. We waited 20minutes after we were finished our food and ended up asking to have whatever colour was ready as the time was becoming ridiculous. So my daughter was left with no drink throughout having the meal.

For the price of the food I would not return due to the staffs attitude, only 2 families in the resteraunt and we were made to feel like we were...
