Cafe 74 — Restaurant in Great Britain

Appalling customer service. After ordering our breakfast we were told there would be a wait, but they could not tell us how long. Over forty minutes later we were served nearly raw poached eggs, in fairness the avocado and bacon were ok. Sadly I am gluten intolerant and there was no gluten free bread nor jacket potatoes. We were offered a free coffee or cake as way of an apology. Sadly I couldn’t have a cake as despite the allergy advice on the cakes saying the millionaires short bread was gluten free but the server insisted it did have gluten. Wow !! I don’t usually write reviews but I had to on this occasion! My daughter and I took a stroll round the local village and decided to try the recently opened Café 74. Cafe 74 is within Silverstone Cricket Ground and is part of the Pavilion.

What a nice place to call in and get some home cooked food and the coffee was enjoyable too.

So much nicer than using Motorway service station.
