We walked in for dinner around 7pm on a Friday based on good reviews and the restaurant was completely empty. That said, a large group of young men came in after we'd ordered.
Service was fine, but after enjoying our poppadoms the experience left a lot to be desired.
The butter chicken was quite sweet and coconutty, more like a korma. It was also swimming in sauce as you can see in the picture.
The half chicken tandoori looked like a showstopper when it came out of the kitchen, but was dry and flavourless.

The madras is genuinely hot. I like hot and it was warm for me!
The staff are really lovely too. You can tell the place was established in the 70s, as the experience really shines through in the food quality and customer service 👍
I genuinely think you will struggle to find a better Indian in the area. I have tried many others, but it would be extremely difficult to beat the...
