I wish I could have given a better review. I'm not sure what to make of Burger Boyz and came out feeling a little disappointed but also happy I have been and did not miss out. The burger itself was amazing and the shake was really good, however it does end there for me as the sides were alittle underwhelming with the halloumi and regular fries both being soft, limp and not crispy as they should be. The atmosphere was interesting, as I think it's trying to be something it's not. For instance, it felt like a restaurant with good service on occasions, but then it felt like a typical takeaway, where you get no real care or service. Don't get me wrong, it's a really well decorated and cosy, however the loud music and the bare brick walls made it a loud environment, which for me was abit too much for me and could not speak to my partner the whole night without raising my voice. Price seemed appealing prior to the visit, but once we finished, we said to ourselves the portions were not worth £50 for 2 burgers, 2 sides, and 2 drinks. What annoyed me most. When I was trying to relax and enjoy my food, people were coming in constantly, walking through all the tables to collect there orders at the back of the restaurant and then walk out with no regards to there dine in customers. We are not sure we will be back, and if we do, it would only be for the amazing smash burgers and shakes ... and it would be collection only. UPDATE ON 2ND VISIT Opinion has not changed, really. I find the prices are very attractive on the menu, but then when you're there, you can easily go over £25 for 1 person ... which is steep for any burger, chips, side, and drink. I also think they should do away with the whole order at the table via the QR code. If you are charging these prices, then proper table service should be included.

Absolutely love this place. Been waiting to try it for ages as it’s often fully booked. Food was top notch and service very helpful. Will definitely go again to try some of the other items on the menu. I can recommend the Brian Griffin Burger and the Hey You Guys Fries. Not to mention the Millionaire Shortbread milkshake. Other half had a pint of Electric Boogaloo IPA which helped cut through the food. Ordering at the table with QR code was relatively simple and good if you are a regular. Not having been before meant we needed some assistance with our options, but that was quickly forthcoming. Food came out like lightning too and hardly any wait although we were the first ones in that evening. Also the food was hot, not lukewarm which I really liked. Careful if you are on a low sodium diet though. Maybe worth bringing this up with the chef before ordering. Outstanding Food and good music. Can’t wait for them to open in Swansea.

I came to this joint when visiting wales and staying nearby, the reviews looked pretty good and thought I would give a go. We ordered the angry chuck with double beef patties which came up at £10, OG chicken burger at £8, OG classic with double beef patties for £10 and a side of fries. Considering I am from London and a single smash burger with no condiments/toppings/sauces will knock you £15 atleast I think this place is very reasonably priced. The burgers were juicy and with every bite the burger was dripping beef juice, the angry chuck was very delicious and the chef did not skimp on the chili jam and it was really good chunky chili jam! We shared the burgers between 2 of us and each one was flavourful and the smash patty bigger than the bun which is what I like to see! Will be returning to wales for more climbs and hikes and I will definitely be returning here.

The OG Burger Kings. The boys that know how to make a fantastic burger (or two). Burger Boyz really are that burger place.

We were so kindly invited down (both of us were 🤩) to HQ in PT. We’ve previously tried multiple burgers at @swansea.alberthall but we’re wanting to get down to the OG hometown.

With my husband Mark working in PT, Burger Boyz is like the Mecca of places to eat around. And it certainly didn’t disappoint 🤤

We had:

🍔 Chuck Norris Burger 🍔 Baconator Burger 🍔 Classic Cluck Chicken Burger 🍟 BBQ Crispy Chicken Loaded Fries 🍟 Buffalo Crispy Chicken Loaded Fries

Wow oh wow. How do you put into words how good this meal was.

Each burger has its own signature, yet BB know how to make each one unique & fantastically delicious. Chuck Norris & Baconator were fabulous with perfectly seasoned beef patties. Plus the crispy bacon in the Baconator another level of amazing 🤤

The loaded fries were insanely tasty. The BBQ loaded fries were just classic and so so good. The Buffalo loaded fries had that spicy zing to it that cut through everything else - equally as good and flavoursome.

High high praise to BB - everything was impeccable. When can we come back?...

I Had food from here many times and have to say, each time before has been fantastic! Tonight though I’m disappointed. I understand the concept of a ‘smash burger’ but these had been smashed soo much the ends had all dried out and were tasteless and hard from being so thin, I understand it won’t be 100% fresh as a take out order but baring in mind the food was only sat in the take out box just under 10 minutes, it shouldn’t have been as bad as it was, the inside of the burger was nice and full of flavour as usual though and bun was lovely and soft. The halloumi fries were very pale, rubbery and squeaked while chewing them so I couldn’t eat them and the serving of chilli jam was barely enough for 2 dips. The chips were fine, maybe slightly expensive for what they are, in my opinion and I think there should be smaller options for less money of the nacho cheese sauce as I only use it as a dip and loads of it always gets wasted . I have to say though, service was great as usual, food was ready early in fact so no issues there. I can’t comment on the atmosphere because I...
