The photo below illustrates what £50 buys you for breakfast at this airport establishment. Fifty pounds. Which is, coincidentally, what it cost us to fly from Edinburgh to here and back again with luggage. Underheated and underwhelming, the bacon was as dry as sandpaper and cold. The coffee was lukewarm, juice from concentrate, hash browns greasy and whatever the sauce was on the Eggs Benedict it certainly wasn’t Hollandaise. One lovely girl front of house, one sullen one and a guy who is manifestly in the wrong job. Bring your own food to this airport; this offering is an absolute rip-off.

Evergreen Restaurant at Bournemouth Airport is a hidden gem. I mean, the food is just on another level—so tasty and fresh! But what really makes the experience special is the staff. They’re super friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home even before your flight. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal, you’re in for a treat. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through!

Very poor, very long wait and very expensive for 2 poor quality breakfasts that were cold. That tiny black dot on photo 2 is the the 'oven roasted flat mushroom'. For the sum of £27 I expected more. I travel extensively and these breakfasts are the worst I have had. The restaurant itself was clean though.

Disappointing Experience: Lukewarm Food and Unacceptable Service My recent experience at this establishment was highly disappointing, characterized by poor quality control and exceptionally poor customer service. From the start, the experience was lacking in basic hygiene. The mugs of tea we received were visibly tea-stained, suggesting unacceptable standards of cleanliness. The serving of the tea itself was also problematic. When I attempted to collect a jug of milk to correctly prepare a drink for a guest at our table, I was instructed to add the milk immediately at the bar, despite the tea bag having literally just been immersed in boiling water. Tea strength and milk content are a matter of personal preference, and this procedure ruins the drink. When I politely requested a small jug of milk, the server made me feel like an explicit nuisance. The resulting interaction appeared malicious: the server filled the small jug to the brim in front of me, making it impossible to transport to the table without spillage. Regarding the food, the items delivered to the table were virtually lukewarm, which significantly detracted from the meal. This fact was mentioned to the server when they came to clear the plates; however, the issue was simply shrugged off without any acknowledgment, apology, or attempt at remedial action. The combination of poor hygiene standards, subpar food temperature, and a completely dismissive, bordering on hostile, attitude from the staff makes this a venue I cannot recommend. Significant staff training in both customer service and basic food service etiquette is...

Possibly the worst food I’ve had in an airport. The loaded fries were simply a sad, stale, dry mess of chips and chicken that had been burnt in a deep fat fryer, LATHERED in cheap gross coleslaw and sauce in an attempt to cover it up. Partner ordered nachos, much the same, tortilla chips absolutely drenched in the wettest slush. I wouldn’t pay more than a fiver for them both. 2 beers and 2 mains = £50

Staff were ok, didn’t have much interaction as ordered to the table so can’t comment on service.

But even having the name ‘kitchen’ is offensive to anyone that can actually produce a decent plate of food. This is something a 10 year old would pile together. Awful. Avoid. Take your own food or get a meal deal.

Really hot and stuffy, no air, smells awful in here- probs a mix of food and BO to be honest.

I honestly cannot believe how bad the food was for the price I am shocked 🤣🤣🤣

  • edit I will say I mentioned it to a member of staff just after posting this and he did kindly refund me for my meal, which is appreciated. He was helpful and friendly so thanks for the refund I am slightly...

Disappointing Experience - Well Below reasonable Standards Even with lowered expectations for airport dining, this establishment fails to meet the most basic requirements. The food quality was poor across the board - lukewarm at best, with eggs that were genuinely inedible. For someone who isn’t particularly picky about food, I was shocked at how badly they managed to execute a simple full breakfast. The cleanliness standards were equally concerning. At 6 AM, every table was visibly dirty - something you might grudgingly accept during busy evening hours, but completely unacceptable first thing in the morning. The beverage service was no better. The Guinness (yes, I know it’s early, but I was on holiday!) was served in a dirty glass and tasted awful. At £8.30 per pint, the quality should be significantly higher than what was delivered. Given the premium prices charged here, the overall experience represents extremely poor value for money. I’d strongly recommend bringing your own food rather than paying these inflated prices for substandard quality...
