We were celebrating our 50th wedding in August and needed a small buffet for the day as we had arranged a large get together at a later date, with what was thought limited numbers on the day we asked could we have a small buffet for 10-12 guests, the day befor the anniversary the numbers increased two fold and with little hope I asked could we increase the food, this was not a problem and we received enough food for thirty guests let alone the twenty that arrived, now the food, wow all in trays which made collection, transportation and keeping fresh so easy, the sandwiches were very varied and all superb, even a few for the vegi's we expected, there could not have been a better selection and all mega fresh, the selection of cakes was as good as the sandwiches and stayed fresh whilst eaten over the next 48 hours, now if you want to indulge we got wo trays of the superb pork pies and sausage rolls, these are both to die for, the best we have ever tasted, we can not praise the bakery enough and would recomend them for any function you need, and last but not least was the pricing, I can honestly say I expected to pay double what it did cost and it realy made our day special, thank you all for going the extra mile, cheers Nigel Andi...

On my many visits up the Cheshire I always look forward to stopping here for the food. It is without doubt the most professional, well kept and delightful food outlet that I have been to. The food is all fresh and hand made, all salads and cold meats are delicious and the hot food is second to none. All dishes are home made including the pies that have a wonderful colour to the pastry and rich delicious gravy. The Interior has that wonderful country kitchen feel where home baked bread, along with locally made jams and curds are available to buy. A strong customer Base along with exceptional customer service that Cheshire is so well known for, makes this outlet in my top five of eateries that cater for the long distance driver as well as local people. This was a place worthy of 5* not that long ago. You used to have the option of getting freshly made sandwiches/batches with a filling of your choice, salad etc. But after a refurb they stopped this and just had a fridge with premade options only. Really spoils it I'm afraid, if you wanted a ready made sandwich you can pick one up from anywhere. I hope they'll realise the mistake and revert back to what made...
