I love Greggs. There's not much more to add. I'm an extraordinarily fussy eater, but Greg's can cater for all my basic needs. My favourite used to be their sausage rolls, but not any more. A bacon baguette is simply sensational. No butter, no sauce, well done bacon (I don't like the fat unless it's caramelised) in a fresh crispy baguette, not many things in life are more satisfying. When we have breakfast, my wife usually has a bacon and omelette roll. We both have a coffee and sometimes a couple of hash browns. All for about £8! The staff at Greggs Skelton are great, always accommodating my culinary whims. If I ask for extra bacon, no issue, no spread, no sauce, no problem. I'm typing this and I'm already looking forward to Friday (tomorrow) in the office, when one of the guys gets a shipping order. My trusty plain baguette with well done bacon will arrive...

With every cold over priced steak bake that guarantees a fiery onslaught of heartburn, with every icey cold bite of their frozen in the centre spice chicken sandwiches. Or with every sip of this hideous cup of hot water disguising itself as a £2 cup of tea I lose love for Gregg's every time now but unless theirs a coplands nearby your out of luck. There was only x2 vegan ham and cheese sandwiches left in the fridge but I needed x4, I asked a member of staff to see if she could make another couple for me. After she checked to see if they had all the ingredients, she came back and said could.
