A Disappointing Display of Poor Management and Inefficiency I visited the Greggs branch in Stenson Fields, Derbyshire at approximately 10:45am, and I must express my considerable disappointment with the experience. To be absolutely clear from the outset, my criticism is not directed at the gentleman serving behind the counter. On the contrary, he appeared to be working extremely hard and with admirable composure under what were clearly unreasonable circumstances. It was evident that he had been left to manage an unrelenting flow of customers entirely on his own — a situation that reflects extremely poorly on the management rather than on him. The result was a painfully slow-moving queue and a general sense of disorganisation. To compound matters, by the time I reached the front — still before 11am — the breakfast items had already been withdrawn, despite this being well within the stated breakfast period. All I had wished to purchase was a simple croissant, yet this, too, was no longer available. At that point, I decided to leave without ordering, feeling both frustrated and let down. It is frankly unacceptable for a national chain of Greggs’ stature to operate with such insufficient staffing levels and disregard for its own advertised service times. The situation smacks of poor planning and an absence of managerial oversight. In summary, this visit was an unfortunate reminder that even well-established brands can falter when basic operational standards are neglected. I sincerely hope that Greggs management takes immediate steps to ensure that staff are adequately supported — and that customers receive the level of service one might reasonably expect.

Dear Greggs Team at Sinfin District Centre, I'm writing to share some incredibly positive feedback about your newly opened outlet! My partner and I visited on Jun 28th (when your outlet was just 3 days old) and were thoroughly impressed. Firstly, the staff were absolutely fantastic. We were not sure about how to redeem our coffee rewards available from confused.com, but your team was incredibly helpful and patient, guiding us through the process with a smile. This level of service really stood out. The ambience is great, and it's wonderful to see plenty of seating space available. The addition of an onsite toilet with baby changing facilities is a huge bonus and shows great consideration for your customers. It's brilliant to now have such a convenient and welcoming spot to enjoy a coffee after shopping at Asda. Knowing you're open until 8 PM on weekdays and 5 PM on weekends is also incredibly convenient. We're thrilled to have you in the neighbourhood and look forward to many more visits. Keep up the excellent work!

This building has only been open a few weeks and already the place has very poor hygiene, The floors ,tables and bin overflowing , my self and granddaughter witnessed a member of the staff leaving behind the counter and cleaning the wc putting rubbish in the bins from the floor then going bk and serving behind the counter wearing the same apron not washing his hands . It’s fair to say we were disgusted what kind of people are you employing? They also need a bloody good manager as when there were no customers the staff stood chatting whe they could have...
