We set ourselves a goal to eat @ 2 or 3 Michelin starred establishments this year. We hosted couple family members for dinner at Greys as a trial to the main event....
Food was good - not exceptional, but all enjoyed. What disappointed was general level of attentiveness and finesse about the evening. We paid £80 per head, which was made up of some overly inflated wine charges plus circa £25 for bread, Olives & water.....

The braised beef cheek is excellent and the Jersey Royals with a seaweed emulsion owe more than a little to Core but that's no bad thing. Keeping the wine and water bottles off the table requires a level of attendance that the staff sadly lack. Serving ourselves didn't even elicit a rush or apology and a bread order never arrived. They did remove the cost of the soup, but I can’t recommend visiting as no dish met expectations especially...
