Hickory's Smokehouse Northampton — Restaurant in Great Britain

Cannot fault Hickory’s. Absolutely amazing experience. Arrived really early to booking. But was escorted to the bar where we was introduced to Will. I was curious on a drink so he kindly gave me a taster to reassure my decision. He then handed us over to Alex whom he was training. Exceptional bar skills and customer service. Very friendly. Got to our table and where they went the extra mile with an anniversary pig sign which was exceptional they took note of the booking. We was then greeted by Lydia. Fantastic service also. Very helpful and knowledgeable! Checked back and asking for feedback at the perfect time. Again very friendly and a credit to your business. Food was incredible. The flavours phenomenal! We had to try the smoke platter for a try of everything and there was PLENTY! To top off the visit, Kate brought us a happy celebrations treat with firework. Honestly, why are you still reading my review. Get booking NOW! Fantastic 14th anniversary and our new favourite place. We will be back regular. Thank you team Northampton. Keep up the good work! All round a great experience. Arrived ahead of the rest of our group so sat in the bar, had a chat with the lovely bar team, and had some lovely drinks while waiting. Also good to know they show sports (football and rugby on) so that is a great incentive to go back. Hopefully some more ales on tap in the future, but always personal preference.

As others said, when sat at the table, given some popcorn and ordered drinks. Again, waiting staff where lovely and chatty.

Food arrived and not much was left after! Delicious and very good sized meals (always think Fajitas should have more wraps with them though!)

Personally the background music was a bit to loud, but sitting in a booth in the corner might have made it more echoie meaning chatting had to be a bit louder than normal.

The cinema room is a great addition for keeping the little one with us entertained after eating! And the rest of us got to have some very nice desserts!

All in all a great experience and will be going back...

Having been one of the lucky ones to sample Hickory's before they officially open to the general public, I must say it is as good as I was expecting it to be. We attended the brunch event, the brunch menu is small but it doesn't make it any easier to decide what to have as everything sounds amazing. I personally settled on steak and eggs - I believe for place like this steak should be a flagship menu item. It was cooked to perfection, eggs were lovely- the whole plate was 5⭐ We visited as a group, we also had American breakfast - that was huge!! Well cooked, tasty and fresh. Waffle with fried chicken - American dinner classic!! Amazing. We also had a Hickory's breakfast and pork in bourbon pancakes. There was no piece of food on the table that wasn't lovely. Service was very good, friendly and attentive but not in your face. It was so good I now booked table to take my husband out for some lovely food. I have a feeling this will become our favourite place for celebratory meals...
