Hundred Acre Kitchen — Restaurant in Great Britain

I received the most horrible service from the Cook. She refused to cook one burger medium rare. She said she only cooks one way, period. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, one with extra cheese and bacon. It is an open kitchen, and I did not go outside. She kept telling me to go outside. I said no thank you. She had three bacon strips left, one cooked to a crisp. She was going to put it on my burger, and I refused. I asked if my buns could be posted, and she replied, I know I will. She then made someone else’s bacon sandwich before mine. She then put one slice of cheese on the burgers, and I reminded her that one burger was ordered with two slices. She told me to go outside, and she said it loudly. I was so embarrassed. I ended up with one bacon. Then I decided to sit down because she kept saying she did not like to be told how to cook. Everyone in the restaurant could hear her. The burgers cost £12. I will not go...

Wow! What a brilliant gem the 100 Acre Kitchen is.

I took family for a stop-off. These are the various comments made:

Alison's food was outstanding and at £5 for a delicious burger with salad in a roll, the value is exceptional.

We loved our hot chocolate and ice cold lemonades.

The quality of the burger and the taste of the beef and eggs was out of this world (was also told they are provided by their own farm at Cheswell Grange).

One of the guests had a breakfast roll. They said it was the best they have ever had. Cooked to perfection... just crispy enough!

The benches with the superb parasols kept us shaded in the heat. The atmosphere was relaxed and the outside area was beautifully clean and tidy.

This was a fantastic meal with a great view of Lilleshall Hill and Monument, The Wrekin and surrounding farmland/countryside.

Will certainly keep coming back! See you...

I've been living in Newport Shropshire since 2nd December 2022 and I've heard how lovely this little place is and I've been meaning to pop in and try it out. I went there Thursday 26th Jan 2023 and it didn't dissapoint me, from the moment I walked in with my girlfriend the lovely Alison behind the counter was so lovely with a great big smile and hopefully took to me and my banter straight away !!! There was her two daughters smiling and laughing away in the corner and a lovely man called Richard who is a regular like many other people who I've heard come in and I know why, it's Alison and her food and hot drinks (and cold drinks in the fridge) along with a lovely hot fire 🔥 This wonderful place gets 10/10 from me and my girlfriend and we will as Arnie once said "I'll be back" Thank you Alison for a lovely chat and a lovely place...
