So impressed with this place, we came back again. Food was delicious, service was ok, atmosphere lovely. Had an ice cream for pud one day and sat outside. Just as nice inside as it is outside. Definitely on the books for a return visit. Regular all day breakfast and a ploughman’s lunch were had - so will attempt something else next time â˜ș

Grumpy staff is not a nice welcome. Took 10 minutes for tea to arrive and nearly 40 minutes for breakfast to arrive. Very long time for a small venue. Food however was fantastic. The outside area is really nice. Just a shame smokers ruin the nice outside freedom. A smoking area would be nice to keep them away from diners

Friendly helpful staff, good menu choice, something for everyone, clean and tidy, welcoming atmosphere, good value food for the money. Quiche was more like a tart but very tasty, good quality bacon and eggs, would of preferred fresh mushrooms over tinned, but will definitely be back again

I travelled over an hour to visit some family at their boat in Crick marina. They had often mentioned that they wanted to visit this local cafĂ© as they had heard positive things. After looking at the reviews and seeing some inconsistencies in the service we decided to take the chance and visit. We chose to sit outside as my family have small children and we didn’t want to impede on anyone else’s morning by bringing loud children into what was quite a calm environment.

Unfortunately, we were unable to actually try any of the food due to the cafĂ© cat having a fight in the outside dining area with my family’s cat (that lives nearby) I said to my family that maybe we should try somewhere else to which the cafĂ© worker walked away muttering under their breath “yes, you should go elsewhere”. I’m very disappointed in this behaviour from the cafĂ© and I will not be visiting again. Fortunately this incident drove us to try somewhere else nearby (Eleven CafĂ© & Bakery) in Long Buckby, the owner was absolutely lovely and even apologised on behalf of the other cafĂ© we had visited previously.

Would recommend giving Magnolia Tea Rooms a miss.

Edit Have confirmed that the cat does not belong to the café. Unfortunately, no excuse for the way the...

Firstly would be unfair to rate atmosphere as we sat outside and wasn’t busy as early. Anyway ordered 2 coffees and I forget what it was called but was on counter with raisins and cherries Was a bit surprised it was £4.50 for what it was but thought it looked nice . Anyway when it came they brought butter as some have butter , well when I cut it open you would need more than butter it was dry/stale! It was very cold so I think it had been kept in the fridge . I don’t like complaining but I could not eat it ! Member of staff was outside so called her over and first response was people do have butter . Anyway swapped for a tea cake , and when came out was said to me see how you get in with that ! Tea cake was £3 , no offer of refund for the difference and I felt I couldn’t go in . Very...

Visited here for a quick lunch after visiting the garden centre Ordered 3 lattes, 3 lunches & 3 cakes. Not too badly priced & friendly staff Lattes turned up a few minutes later, cakes then turned up about 10 minutes later, 2 of these were apple pie & custard that had been warmed up, we weren’t asked wether we wanted it hot or cold, the Apple pies looked like they had been dropped on the floor all mushed up, didn’t much look like it did in the cabinet We asked about our lunches & eventually 15 minutes later these turned up, very tasty but obviously by the time we had these the custard had skimmed over & it was all cold Not exactly the service you would expect even to get the basics right & it wasn’t exactly busy Food although good, the service wasn’t great &...
