Pepe's — Restaurant in Great Britain

Absolutely shocking experience. Ordered over £45 worth of food, took the food home which was 30m drive, while eating our food we noticed that the chicken from the XL burger and prime pitta was pink. Called pepes Hamilton their reply was no one else has complained. Then asked us come into the store with the food and they will replace if uncooked.

Took the food back which was another 30min journey to the store. Gave them food to the pepes staff, after inspecting the food the manager said it was not pink but after showing them the areas the manager agreed it was pink for both the Prime Pitta and XL burger. The manager after agreeing it was pink advised it was still cooked. Which is absolutely crazy. The manager did not admit it was undercooked, even with him admitting the chicken was pink and not taking ownership.

Not clean, overpriced and as you can see from reviews many people are unsatisfied, but the owner keeps ignoring people and is very rude towards negative reviews that shows his weakness for a successful customer service. The dip sauce is mixed with water!!!! a scam well known by doggie fast food owners. It's always the same group of business owners try to scam and take money of people, but if there is a complaint they make it out like the people are wrong and they are always right. I'm glad that many people feel the same way and leaving negative reviews. Not recommended, overpriced, bad food, bad service. I will give a 1 out of 10 just because they have Piri Piri spices...

Ordered from @ Pepe's Piri Piri last night. Brian was eating his chicken quesadilla. He thought there was a crispy bit around the chicken and continued to eat as he swallowed he realised it was a bone which started to stick in his throat but luckily he managed to dislodge it. This could have been one of the grandkids We phoned twice to speak to the manager to explain what had happened was told he was out delivering and would call back in 15 mins and then later told after 8pm.
