My original booking was at Braai Shack however they were not opening until 6pm but kindly directed us to The Safari Braai. Unfortunately there is a drastically noticeable difference between service and wait times between the two restaurants despite them having the exact same menu. From us ordering to us being served food was 2hrs. In that time one person who only wanted starters (we asked for all the food to come at the same time) ate their food and then had to wait over an hour for the rest of us to be served our food and then eat. To make matters worse the pork ribs were stone cold which is honestly a health hazard. The brisket was amazing but sadly that was the only good thing. Our original server could use some retraining. Thankfully the young gentleman who took over our table really did his best to redeem the experience for us. Baring in mind there was only four tables to serve. He truly went out of his way to help. The other servers there could definitely learn a thing or two from him. The difference between service from the Safari Braai to Braai shack is day and night, bar that nice man who is on par with the ladies at Braai shack with his hospitality skills. It was very disappointing as my family travelled from Brighton to come visit and try the food at this restaurant because I spoke so highly of it only for them to have this experience. To make matters worse the meal we ordered was not complete (as described) because they ran out and failed to inform us until I asked about the missing items. My advice to anyone would be to go to Braai Shack over the Safari Braai if you want...

Heading to Safari Braai Kitchen for a working lunch has become a ritual my business partner and I look forward to. šŸ½ļøāœØ Every visit is a journey through a culinary savanna where flavors roam wild and free!

From the moment you step in, the atmosphere envelops you like a warm African breeze. The decor is a tasteful nod to the safari theme without going overboard – it's all about elegance with an exotic touch. šŸŒšŸ¦“

The staff at Safari Braai Kitchen are the heart of the savanna. Always welcoming, they greet you with smiles that are as genuine as the mouthwatering aromas wafting from the kitchen. Their service? Impeccable. They're attentive without hovering, making you feel like the chief of your own tribe. šŸ‘‘šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³

Now, let's talk food – it's nothing short of incredible. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with care and seasoned with the spirit of Africa. Whether it's the perfectly grilled meats that would make any braai master proud, or the vibrant sides that bring a rainbow of flavors to your plate, you're in for a treat. šŸ„©šŸ„—

The great atmosphere and lovely staff only enhance the experience, making every working lunch not just a meal, but a mini getaway. It's a place where business and pleasure not only meet but dance together under the African sun. šŸ’¼šŸ’ƒ

In conclusion, Safari Braai Kitchen is more than a restaurant – it's a destination. For anyone looking for an escape in the middle of their day, this is it. Can't wait for our next 'business trip' to this culinary oasis! šŸŒŸšŸ“

We could write a dissertation on not only how beautiful this place is, but most importantly the friendliness of the team, including those you may not always see inside the restaurant. We spotted this pub earlier on in the day, and said we would go there when returning on our journey, as the character and personality the building gives off, was a major factor to wanting to go.

I can’t thank the team here enough, not only for being so welcoming and gleeming with enthusiasm, but in answering questions to the theme that underpins the establishment. In being curious, and hearing the South African themes that run throughout, in what is a modern and contemporary in decor, with abstract interior, and placement that makes it aesthetically gorgeous.

The food, we only had a brief snack due to a quick stop, however in what we ate, the food is up there in standards, and recipes that clearly are from the heart and influenced from family recipes. The taste, presentation and unit flavour balance, for us, Sealed it.

On a personal level, you made us forget about the world, and both me and my partner were able to be wrapped up in our love, and finding ourselves.

I can’t recommend anywhere within, and beyond the area, other than here.

On a final note, for me, this is an establishment who is securing long sustainability, in having the perfect balance in all areas

We will see...

I do recommend the place, however the service was not the best. We had food served but no plates (we had sharing platter). By the time we got plates, the grilled meat started to cool down and toughen up. So it became chewy. Things like menu, drinks, etc, everything took time. I think they may need more staff. But in general it's a nice place. It was my birthday and we ordered a big sharing platter for 145. That was enough for 5 people and 2 kids. Had some drinks separately. Also to bear in mind, majority of dishes are spicy. The place has a lot of parking and separate room with pool and TV.

The starters were lovely, there was enough for 3. The mains were disappointing, the burger had way too much garlic mayo and had to be scrapped off. The ribs were pretty tough and hard to chew, certainly didn’t fall off the bone and the lamb chops were tough also. The chips were nice. There was a full blown argument between the guy behind the bar and with two girl staff sat at a table. I thought it was slightly overpriced at Ā£100 for 3 people. We sat next to the bar, the phone rang twice and was right next to my head, very loud.

Came here for my dad's birthday. It wathursday lunchtime so probably explains the quiet atmosphere, it was starting to perk up when were leaving around 5pm. I have to say we all tried something different and all had wonderful meals that were really tasty so would definately come here again for food.. The reviews are correct in that the service is slow.. But it's worth the wait. I think we probably would have ordered at least 2 more rounds of drinks if the staff had come round about more often.. Hence the 3 stars for service.
