I would echo the recent review given. Male members of staff seem polite and friendly. Certainly, at least 2 of the female staff seem to revel in a power trip that unfortunately tarnished our visit here. Here's a few tips for the management; don't alienate the small number of customers you have try to remember that you are based on a family holiday park, not an OAP haven review your closing time of the indoor play area (9pm bank hol Monday) when the bar is open until 11pm perhaps consider that children, when kicked out of the indoor play area abruptly, will play excitedly in the outdoor part (seems a weird concept, no?) don't overstep the mark in your duties as staff members by being absolute jobsworths. Some parents are irresponsible, but common sense should apply when observing and knowing where your input is not required nor welcome.

I've had a caravan on the park for the last 8 years, and have used the Swallows Nest though out that time. Back in the day, it was great, albeit a little rough and ready, however over the last two years it's really come into its own. Lois and her team are attentive, professional and above all fun, they really make you feel welcome every time your there. This year there's an addition of a regular entertainment programme which I believe was long overdue and a great addition. There's a great selection of beers, wine and spirits and the food is always on point. The Swallows has an amazing beers garden, with outside stage and a great outdoor and indoor kids play area. My grandson had his 2nd birthday party here yesterday. Went in an hour early to decorate and the staff was really helpful. Food was amazing, absolutely delicious. The ball pit and climbing frames kept us all entertained before and after the food arrived. Cleared up and went outside to spend the rest of the afternoon on the playground outside.
