We visited for breakfast and dinner, plenty of tables available for breakfast around 9:30am so no need to reserve. I would recommend booking for dinner as it gets busy with walk-ins. You can book on the Haven app or in the pub. You can use table service (it can take some time if it's busy) or order by using the app and menu - check you have a table number if outside! WiFi is available in the bar and extends to the seating area outside, some signal possible on the park to. The cocktails good price but are terrible, either out of a can or pre made with hardly any alcohol, stay clear in my opinion. We told one of the waiters how poor the cocktails were (just feedback) and he knocked some cash off the bill šŸ’µ which was nice of him. The food was ok and tasty, reasonabley priced. The cleanliness I'd say is 3 star, tables are slowly cleared and the one we had pre booked needed a good wipe and was not set up for our arrival. Toilets within, with disabled access ♿ and baby change ready. Summary: good for a bite to eat if you can't be bothered to travel out. Pizza šŸ• is the best option in my opinion, they looked and tasted pretty good 4 star ✨⭐ skin on fries šŸŸ good šŸ‘ If you found this review helpful please give it a like āœ…šŸ‘ā¤ļøšŸŒž

First day of the holiday. Table booked for 5pm on the thinking that when we booked it we had no idea of check in time for our caravan. Turns out that was 4pm so worked out great. However that was where it went down hill... Got there, was greeted and taken to our table. We were told all table service! Great Stuff we thought. HOWEVER, the server took ages to come, i ended up having to get someone, the food we wanted we were told they had none left so that wasnt good, when the food did finally arrive it was only just warm, chips were cold and the food was very bland and dull. What we could order was sausage n mash - not very much mash and the sausages seemed pink inside, spaghetti bolognaise - cold, very dry and no flavour at all, kids fishfingers n chips - cold chips, and only just warm fishfingers, kids lasagne n corn on cob - i mean need i go on? Was just rank for what it was. Kids did eat for £1 but even that was too much! Food was way over priced n horrid. The atmosphere was way too noisy although i do appreciate its a family restauraunt. Sorry Lighthouse, i expected way way better. That was not a good start for us

Stop berating this lovely family restaurant. It is run by haven it is obviously not Michelin starred. No idea why people expect Heston Blumenthal to have personally prepared their dish on an 18 karat gold plate… you get what you pay for (and more!) at this restaurant in my opinion. The staff are great with kids and always stay organised regardless of how busy it gets. The food is consistently nice. Stop being negative nancies and enjoy the meal you got. Cannot stand the pretentious old people at this caravan site. Spent my summers here all throughout my teen years and the only thing that’s ever upset me or ruined my experience is the miserable old freaks who have nothing better to do than bully kids and young staff who are just trying to do their job. However they’re a bit stingy with the rice…

Came 2 weeks ago and I am very disappointed by the service. It took them 20 minutes to come take our order on the first night, and even after we’d ordered 2 more staff came and asked if if we were ready to order?! Had to get the sauces box and ask for cutlery ourselves as it was not brought to us. We ordered a drink along with the bill and only got the drink. It was the school holidays and would’ve been a bit more understandable if it was busy, but it wasn’t. Considering there were lots of staff all just stood around talking! However the food wasn’t too bad. We went the next night, again food was ok. We wanted desert to be told there was no cheesecake. Oh fair enough, got 2 pints instead. Oh wait- no Guinness! We went the morning after for breakfast, my partner who doesn’t eat pig wanted the vegetarian breakfast, and again we were told ā€˜sorry we don’t have the vegetarian breakfast in’ ?!? Considering it’s only the sausages that are different I found that hard to believe. I did question the server and ask what they had as an alternative, she said she’d check then came back and said they do have the vegetarian breakfast in…? Breakfast was completely fine, however the wait for a coffee and a pint of orange juice was disgusting. 25/20 minutes! May I also add we had to ask for these ourselves even though all glasses on the table were empty! I had to ask the server if they were ready, they were finally brought over- with no milk for the coffee!? I am not one to complain, however I am an owner on this site and the service has always been immaculate until recently. I really do hope...

So, I didn't expect much, but to say it's worse than a Wetherspoons is an understatement. We arrived on site and booked in advance, to be fair we were taken to a table straight away. Unfortunately, the table hadn't been cleaned and still rather sticky from the previous occupants, not to mention what was still scattered on the floor. We then waited a good 15 mins waiting be served before we went to the bar to order our food, only to be told it was table service only. Finally we managed to get the attention of a passing member of staff, only to be told someone would be with us in a couple of minutes. At last food and drinks were ordered and it did arrive fairly quickly. Clearly they got the food order wrong, as they tried to give us an extra burger (also see later). I wasn't expecting Michelin starred food, but I would expect hot food, which we didn't get. Getting someone's attention to complain was impossible. For some inexplicable reason we decided to try and order desert but again an impossible task, even trying to pay the bill was proving difficult, it was as if we didn't exist! Eventually we managed to get someone's attention to pay the bill, where they tried to charge us for the extra burger we didn't order. Needless to say, we didn't venture there again, preferring to go off site and eat elsewhere. Lesson learnt, didn't bother with this place again. Overpriced for what you get, we had a lovely meal elsewhere the following day for nearly half the price and the food and service...

Visited on a Tuesday mid afternoon in late june (for the first time since 2019).

Food was quite good, but a bit pricey for what it is - it would very quickly add up if there is a group of you, or you want more than just a main.

Definitely trying to go for a more restaurant vibe rather than a bar that serves food - with at table ordering, which I'm not really a fan of, but probably works for the typical customer of family groups (i visited alone). Once seated I was attended to promptly, though unfortunately the menus on the wall outside do not match the actual menu, so had to quickly change my mind. I don't know if I annoyed the initial server or they just swaped positions but I had someone else serving me for the rest of visit after ordering. Saying that, both staff members were very nice and welcoming.

On menus I personally would prefer menus to be on the tables rather than brought to you, so you can browse, say for instant, the deserts while you wait.

The food took around 15-20 mins to arrive, which is reasonable. Can imagine this time going up significantly when busy or with a larger group. The actual food upon arrival, a pulled beef baguette melt & chips, was nice and quite a decent portion, filled me more than expected and struggled to finish the last few chips! When it came to finishing I was sat for a not unreasonable amount of time (5-10 mins) before they asked if I had finished and cleared the table, followed by the bill, which was also at...
